The Second Annual Starfish Supply Raiser!

I am excited to say that it is time for the Second Annual Starfish Supply Raiser to begin. Last year was such an amazing experience. I hope that this year is just as successful. I have been talking with Amanda and she wanted me to tell you all to follow your hearts in giving this year. She has infants who are needing very small preemie clothing and children wearing sizes all of the way up to 4T. She has both boys and girls at the foster home. Gently used clothing is wonderful.

If you are interested in participating, send me an e-mail at timnkim@gmail.com and I will get my address to you. All you need to do is send your Starfish purchases here to me and I will box them up with other donations and send them on to Amanda.

I will have Tim work on setting up the paypal for the postage donations.

Desiree has made a wonderful sidebar graphic, thank you so much!
I love the photo above because I recognize so many of the outfits on the children as being ones that you all sent last year. Below is a tally of what we sent last year. ALSO, I will need some spacebags, so if you have any laying around...they are wonderful for sending the coats.

*PLEASE DO WHAT YOU CAN TO SPREAD THE WORD THAT WE ARE COLLECTING AGAIN FOR STARFISH. I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO SEE THE NEW SIDEBAR GRAPHIC ON AS MANY BLOGS AS POSSIBLE AND HAVE IT LINK PEOPLE BACK TO HERE.

I think a donation is best for me! As the postage is just a crazy amount. I will watch for PAYPAL.

Hey, just a heads up to all of those power shoppers out there: some major chain stores are having GREAT sales right now on winter clothing...

Target has turtlenecks & sweatpants/shirts for as low as 94 cents! I've also seen rock bottom prices for NEW baby/toddler clothing at other stores...

Kimberley, I love that you're organizing this again. I've got a few boxes packed and ready for you and I'm sure I'll add lots more soon!

YOu are a true blessing. I think it is wonderful that you are doing this.
If I was not in Canada it would be so much easier to send some stuff. I have a client who is knitting up a storm for Two Homes One Heart which is a local who does the same thing you are doing.
Praying it goes better this year than ever before!

Kimberly,
I sent what I could before we moved. There was one unopened liquid vitamin in there along with some clothes and a few other things. Will find more once we are settled. PS glad you liked the graphic, let me know if you need anything else.

Please email me shaffer_i@comcast.net for an address and I'll get some of these important items out asap!

I have one pair of new no no's (the elbow restraints used post-op) and other great items.

Can I copy and post this to my site?

Hugs to a most wonderful gal, I only know of you as RMJ!
