A Special Thank You....

I am sending a special thank you to Glinda. It is really a great feeling when someone who you admire for their talents and personality takes the time to do something that makes you feel really special. I found a box from Glinda at my mailbox the day before yesterday and I laughed out loud when I saw it because we all know that she is an excellent and elegant shopper. When I opened the box, I was thrilled. Inside was a Waterford Christmas ornament, a hanging angel with an inscription that made me all misty , a metal plaque which is by my computer monitor and a darling card with a photo of her cute pooches. I am just over the moon. Thank you truly, I am honored to be your friend. I wish you'd share your address with me though, so I could return your kindness and send a special something when the time is right.

The Day After Christmas...

Well, we had ourselves a Merry Little Christmas. Now today I have to go back to work. This is the first time ever that I have had to work during Christmas week. I think I'll go in from 9am-3pm. There isn't much of anything going on today. The kitchen has almost recovered from yesterday's dinner. I'm looking forward to a little relaxation to be honest. I love Christmas, but after 2 big dinners, baking and cleaning up, I could use a little quiet time. Everyone was happy with their gifts this year, nothing is being exchanged or returned. We called everyone yesterday that we should have and had a lovely late evening at Tim's Aunt's house with all of his extended family. Whew! I made it through Christmas!!

Have a wonderful Christmas Eve Everyone! I'm making Monkey Bread for breakfast and have a few last minute gifts to wrap. For dinner we are having King Crab Legs and Kim at Isabella Bison's Pumpkin Roll. Each of our children get to open one gift, they are already bugging me about it : ). I hope you make many happy memories today.
