There will be no Sat Chat...Saturday is Eli's 4th Birthday!
22 Months and No End in Sight...
Tomorrow is our 22 month LID. Tomorrow is also a VERY special day, so I am going to do our LID post today. How are we doing? It varies from day to day...frustrated, sad but mostly hopeful.
At night I pray with Eli and every night he asks to pray for his mei mei and to ask Jesus to tell her that we love her and to ask Jesus to tell her that we miss her and to ask Jesus to tell her that we are coming to take her home wherever she is.

A Snowman for Grandpa...
On the day after Thanksgiving, we decided to make a snowman so that Grandpa could look out of his window and see it and smile after we were gone. Grandpa is a widower and lives alone, so we wanted him to have something he could see to remind him that we love him.
Eli, Mommy and Daddy made the snowman together, the snow was perfect and it was a lot of fun. Eli donated his hat, scarf and gloves to add the finishing touches.
Later that night after Grandpa got home from work, he called to tell us we had left one of our kids in his backyard...too funny!

An Easy Way to Help ChildrenThis Christmas Season!
For a good cause, send a Christmas Holiday E-Card and shoes will be donated to children in need at KIDS - Kids in Distressed Situations. Read here about their six key areas they focus on providing the needs of KIDS.
Robeez has pledged to raise $ 250,000 dollars for shoes to children. I found this great charity effort over at 'Imagine Alyzabeth An'.
Also, for every card you send, you are entered to win prizes like these cute shoes on the left! So, send me this card over and over! Also, if you do a post on your blog, they will donate $25.00 to the charity.

We need Heatmeiser in Michigan!
I was supposed to leave this morning at 7am on a flight to Cincinnati. I received a call at 4am to tell me the flight is canceled and all other flights are booked solid with people trying to get home from Thanksgiving. We are in the middle of a snow storm that has dumped 6 inches from what I can see on top of minivan and is supposed to continue all day today.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for sure!
Keep the e-mails coming for the Christmas Exchanges, we are going to have a really nice group of ladies this year! timnkim@gmail.com
