So I've read. It'll be a bunch of 'K's together... just like on here. It really is amazing how many K names are in the Chat.
I never did come across "the wisher's" blog before she closed it down. I STILL don't understand taking the time to create a fake life in blogland -- who has that kind of time?

TB, it's less strange than the people who are caught up in "Second Life". Now, THAT is weird.
I just got the web cam for Christmas too-from my sister, great gift.... so now I'll try to talk to her on skype. I have used the instant message feature, but this was our first video call.
What in the world is "second life"? I have enough trouble keeping up with my first life!
She was like the kid in the Brad Paisley song, he's so much cooler on-line and can be anybody he wants to be.
So, Karen, you went to the hospital yesterday and met April & Patrick? That's so cool.

Second Life is a whole, complete virtual life in cyberspace.
There are people so caught up in it that SL crimes are reported to REAL life police and real life divorces have occured because of SL flirtations and affairs.
Seriously! A woman "killed" her boyfriend or husband's SL avatar because it did something in SL that she didn't like, and he reported the MURDER to his Real Life local police department.
No, I was going to go yesterday but when I called April, the time that I was going to be there was the time E was going to be coming out of the anesthesia. So, Rick and I are going over there today. Am just waiting for A to call and tell us what time will work best for them.

Karen, remember the "dog" painting Ruth picked up for us on the Island? Well, I got it framed along with the other paintings and get to go pick it up today. Can't wait to see how it turned out!

Oh, the place in Lowell? I've heard about it (haven't tried it though). It's owned by the same people who own the Chinese restaurant in Frankfort (where our cottage is) -- that restaurant is FABULOUS!
We should try it sometime...

Yeah, Google Second Life sometime. It's an eyeopener. I first heard about it in an Investigations class.
We're good with YC 19 people total, six little ones, including 4 high chairs. Can't wait!

Hi to all. We don't know yet about summer. He said you (TB) should be going on the reunion cruise in Feb!
It's a three hour drive to his family in IA from Chicago, and a three hour drive to you from Chicago. We'd have to decide which way to go first, for how long, or if we'd split up and each go a different way.
Of course, the first concern is affording it.
