Some Pics From Tyler's Birthday...

Here is Tyler with his close friend Alistair. They have been best buds since 2nd grade.

Tyler does not like cake, so we do a chocolate fountain for his birthdays with all of his favorite treats to dip into it. I put his candles into the marshmallows so we can still sing to him and he can blow out his candles.

This year was all about guitar hero!

My children's birthdays are emotional times for me. I spend the day thinking about when they were born and what a priveledge it has been to be the one holding their hands through their lives. Tyler was my miracle boy. I was in crisis at 9weeks and he was never supposed to make it . My OB sent me home and told me I would miscarry. I found a new OB who nursed me through the next 7 months and never gave up hope. So, a big thank you to Anita my doctor who did everything she could to keep us stable and to my God who blessed me beyond what I could ever deserve.

I'm the same way with my kid's birthdays, I think about their birth or the day I met them the first time and how it felt. Tyler is your miracle baby. Looks like you he had a great day. Love the chocolate fountain. We have 1 in our family that doesn't like cake too. :)

That's just like me on Jakes day. I usually start a few days before and go through all the memories of those days. So wonderful. You have such a gift there in Tyler. A blessing.

I love the chocolate fountain...what a fun idea!!

I get very emotional on the kids birthdays, both for different reasons...Nick's brings back such a scary part of my life and just like your Tyler, his life is a miracle to me!

Looks like he had a special day.....what a blessing he is...

Praise God for Anita and other healers around the world who refuse to let go of hope, despite what they see on a daily basis!

And you are one great momma -- those chocolate fountains are a PAIN to clean up. ;)

My son does not like cake either. The past two years he has requested coffee cake instead. If I had that chocolate fountain I think I'd start it up every day after the kids were at school... mmm!
Happy Birthday miracle baby, nice job mom! :)

Happy Birthday Tyler! What a great idea to have a chocolate fountain! Guitar Hero was on the agenda for Nick's birthday who was also a miracle baby back in 1997. I'm so glad that your prayers were answered and that God blessed you with a handsome son!
