Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.

Happy Monday. Oh, and love the picture of Elphaba/the Wicked Witch! The papaya loves her!! (she's seen clips from the musical Wicked)
I hate Mondays. I need to get a serious Monday attitude adjustment but I just hate them. Besides getting a weeks worth of homework for my 7 year old in one day and having to get a jump start on it which is always a battle, I have to go grocery shopping (which I did not get to today--ugg!) but I have to go through a weeks worth of classwork and pilfer through the grades. SOme Mondays are happy when there are good grades and others are not so happy. Anyway, it is not my favorite day. I much prefer Fridays :)
