She was an amazing person and is now an amazing saint...
We were talking about social justice at church last night, and what we could do (or what we were passionate about) and one of her quotes came to mind: "Do what's in front of you"... you know? Look at YOUR community (as she did) and work to help and make it better. Reach out to the person RIGHT next to you.
I will put an "Amen" out on that also! Thanks for the tip on how to name your "comments" on your blog! I love your blog by the way very festive for Halloween!
"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, KNOWS that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12
I am an everyday woman. I am married to my soulmate. I have three sons ages 16,13 & 4. Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.

Amen to the others' Amens!
The header is awesome! You ALWAYS have the neatest headers. I love seeing what you'll come up with next.
Mother Theresa is just pure humbling. I can't even imagine the strength the woman had. Can't. Can't do it.
Peace
