that makes me feel so good. Its been good for me to write. Blogging has been so mentally healthy for me and no, I dont fake the attitude. Its really a joy right now to be a part of this process..
Things here are pretty quiet this weekend. Tim is downstairs having his Saturday morning time with Eli. My oldest two are with their Dad this weekend and my step-daughter is with her Mom. I have to work on getting my flower pots put away and most of the patio things put in the garage. It's supposed to hit 70 degrees tomorrow, but I think that will be the last of the warm weather we'll be seeing.

We got ghosted again this week. Someone rang our doorbell and ran. Then we opened the door and there was a beautiful fall plant and a bag of candy. I think it must have been someone I know because of the flower. Now we have to post the ghost on the door and make candy bags for 2 more houses

I saw that on someone's blog, I think that Nancy at ASSEND does that. Her children make up goodie bags and leave them on people's doorsteps. Do you know her?
oh yeah. I loved the bib swap and I expect a huge response to the Christmas Card swap.
I dont think I know her but at least 15 homes have participated so far..Too cool!

I'm doing alright I've had a really crazy week. I'm glad it is over. Too many plans and not enough time. I was suppossed to go to a baby shower for one of the 38 women in our church (since we started our process) who just had a beautiful baby boy but I just knew I couldn't get there. It is hard sometimes but they are all wonderfully supportive.

Yes I had a great Bday...my hubs bought me a new CAMERA!!!! My other one only had 3x zoom and this one has 10x. I really could have waited til Christmas but he loves to suprise me...

You can only be ghosted once? That's kind of a good idea, because it encourages people to ghost everyone in the neighborhood at least once.

Wow, that sounds like a nice camera. I use my husband's, but I don't know a lot about it.

Ya I would have imagined that alot of the other babies would have been there too...I told her I would bring her a gift on Sunday...lol, it is no secret what she will recieve, I give all the new babies a pair of Chinese Squeeky shoes because where I buy them a portion of the sale goes to an orphanage in China.

Sara has done quite a few of my headers. She is very talented.
My blog is very easy. I only have a basic blogger template. I just change the header picture and the font colors. It's the same as you putting a picture in your sidebar. It takes me just a couple of minutes.

I originally asked Sara for some type of a Mary Engelbreit header because I like Debbie's blog so much, but she didn't catch that so I got something different. I love it though, the things she does are beautiful.

That made me laugh, it's like being at a party and people are talking about someone you don't know.

I remember when I was in college. Some semesters were definitley easier than others.
This should be a good week ... I've completed all my assignments already. Only 1 test. Yes, it must be a good week. I've already had too many stressful weeks this semester!

What is your toughest class?
Here's the recipe. Sooo easy.
Get pancake mix, add water, add two or three tablespoons pumpkin pie mix from can, add few dashes pumpkin pie spice, add 2 teaspoons of vanilla, mix and put on griddle. Yummy and easy.
We love our house, but dislike our small, tiny sad backyard. Coming from almost an acre to about 8 feet is hard. But the house is great. It is really busy here. getting used to that too. How are you?
My most challenging class is international politics ... but I LOVE that class! (It's one of those classes where you really work for your grade!)
My least favorite is accounting. I guess that would be my toughest because since I don't like it, it's harder to make myself study/do homework.
We're doing great. We have our fall routine down for the most part. I have to clean off our front patio today. We're definitely moving into cooler weather now.
I'm going to try those pancakes next weekend. They sound fabulous.
We live on a lake, so we don't have much of a yard either.

I majored in English. Literature was my love. I could read the classics over and over. I also took a lot of art and psychology. I have never cared for Math, definitely not my gift. So, I never took an accounting class. Internation politics sounds really cool, but I could see where there would be a lot of research with that class.
My major is political science with my classes focusing on international relations, so my international politics class is something I'm interested in and can see how I will use what I'm learning in the future.
My minor is general business, so that's why I have to have accounting. I have no plans on being an accountant, so it's harder to see how that class is applicable to me. Oh well, that's college! I could say the same thing about some of the basic classes I had to take.
Hopefully I'll have some fun/inspirational things to post this week! I feel like my blog is a "downer" right now. Does that make sense?
I'm off to get started on some of my work! It was great chatting this morning! :)
