Good Morning! Welcome to the morning chat. I'm about to make some coffee and get ready to settle in for some good conversation. Today is my Godson's birthday, so we'll be heading to his party this afternoon. He's into Space Heroes, so I bought him the Jupiter and Neptune action figures. His Dad told me he still didn't have Uranus, but there was no way I was showing up with that! I also put the finishing touches on Gwen's Baby Shower which is next Saturday, please put it on your calendars. I'll be doing a post on it this afternoon. Also, if you have a newer blog or would like some headers done, Verna does a fabulous job. She did the Morning Chat Group header and she is raising money to bring a little boy named Ethan home from China.
If I'm away for a minute or two, please bear with me. I may catch a blog or two when the chat slows down, or Eli may need a potty break. The chat group runs until 12 noon and I am always looking for new comments!

Have a busy day of soccer games, soccer pictures, and a football game today.
Starts around 9:00 and we will be home after 3:00.

Good morning....again..... ;) I think I have decided that I am going to join the MVP Sports Complex on East Paris. I can take the kids too...( if I need to) and during the summer months they have an outdoor kiddie pool area.
That is a gorgeous complex. It is by where I work. The pool looks fabulous, there are always a lot of kids there in the summer.

In the past when I would get a perm it would turn out awful.
It's funny that your wrote about your Godson liking the Universe, RMJ. As we speak, my youngest has decided to make his own book titled, "The Universe".
HE has a plan to try to start selling his hand-printed paper books.
I haven't had a perm since my freshman year in college. My hair holds it well though and it makes things easier. That was before I had gray hair/I color is so no one knows, but I'd bet you I'm 40% gray now if I'd let it show through. I wonder if that would affect how a perm would stick.

Hi girls......I use a 3 barrel curing iron and some spray....Emmie does the same thing...but only the spray does it enough. It is actually harder for her to straighten her hair!
I'm working with Verna.....I want to help my travel mate.... ;)
I put in an order for 5 new headers with Verna. I am hoping that this takes off and we can help that family.

Sophia jsut came out of the play room and "informed" me that "I" can check my "email" and "she" is playing with baby Deedal! ;) How funny is that?

OK- so I am eating breakfast, and I just saw my youngest "book" on the Universe he started this AM. The cover looks like he drew a donut, with icing on it.
Plus, he spelled Universe correct,except, he forgot the silent e at the end.
Where's Secret Agent when you need her? Or her cat anyway! I just looked out my back patio door, and Charlotte has built the king of webs between the doors.
Yet one more thing to add to the list of things to try to get done now that I am working.
It's tough to keep your house together and work isn't it? I've got so much outside work to do to get the house ready for fall. I did set an appointment for the carpet cleaners to get out here next week. Our carpets get trashed every summer with all of the kids and the dog coming in and out.
I think that Secret Agent is having a hard time right now. With only 4 days processed last month, I think that it broke her heart. She really needs for her baby to come.

The whole ordeal was awful. I felt really bad. And I thought that someone else was involved who wasn't and made a complete ass of myself. I thought about the post you did with your friend troubles a couple of weeks ago.
It was the most awful day and my fault really.
I guess that I'm just free with all of my stuff that I never considered someone would get upset.

I am embarassed to even talk about it, but this is what happened.
I get 99% of my graphics all over the internet, mostly public chat groups and such.
I have 8 folders of graphics.
Somewhere along the way I found 3 really cute LID graphics and added them to one of my folders. It was a blog I never followed and doesn't follow mine. I did not ask which was my fault. I really didn't think about it, I don't worry at all about people using things from my blog. It was totally my fault. Well, some time later I put the LID number up for my lid and the gentleman who made it got upset and left a comment on my blog. I felt terrible. Apologized to him profusely. Well, it appeared strongly that someone else knew about the situation and I ASSumed that she knew the gentleman and that he had been upset with me and did not tell me and give me the opportunity to reconcile things with him and keep him from being further upset. THIS WAS NOT AT ALL WHAT HAD HAPPENED. Sometimes things can look so obvious, but they are not. This situation is what I am most upset about. I sent this person an e-mail with no ranting or raving, but just letting them know my ASSumption. Further making an ASS of myself. Sorry for all of the ASS references, but it the only word to completely describe the situation. The poor person was beside herself wondering what I was talking about. It hurt her feelings and devastated me to find out that I had been completely wrong.
Then in my shame and utter self-disgrace, I do my post and all of you wonderful people come to pray and defend me when I did not at all deserve it.
So, there is is my shame.
I did apologize profusely again and again to this person. She is incredibly gracious and has forgiven me.

Maybe we could do a post asking for people who are comfortable having their addresses shared for a Christmas card exchange to privately e-mail them to one of us and we can distribute the completed list to everyone who signs up. People don't have to send one to everyone, just to the people they know, but at least they could have a list.
I will do another post card exchange starting the first week or 2 of October..that will keep me getting mail until its Christmas card time!!
I really want to stop by Christmas, Florida and get my cards stamped their..haha!!
