I been asked several times to release Gwen's wish list for Maggie and so today I am unveiling it.
Maggie's head was badly burned while in foster care in China. Two mother's have volunteered to have their daughter's hair cut for Locks of Love to make a wig for Maggie. That is just one of the most beautiful gifts I have ever heard of. I don't know how many hair donations would be needed to make a wig, but if any of you Mom's would be willing, I think that would be incredible.

Gwen is also putting together a box of needed items to leave behind at Maggie's orphanage. Please keep the orphans in mind and feel free to include one of the items below or one of your choice to be sent to the orphanage and include it clearly labeled with your gift for Maggie.

okay the tears are flowing as i have been studying my daughter's face this week and to see it on your blog in the pretty template that Verna made just makes my heart over flow !!! i look forward to the shower mostly because it gets the story of maggie out to so many people and i know that all those prayers will drift through the wind to her !!!

I have looked into the Locks of Love. My sister has given to them before and recommended it for Maggie. If I remember correctly the length of the hair donated has to be between 6 to 10 inches. It cannot be bleached. I am wanting to donate some of Hannah's once it grows out alittle more.
I can't wait! I have been eagerly awaiting the ist, so I can shop for sweet Maggie. I would love to get some of the orphange items too, so I am glad you shared that!
