Kids in the Kitchen

One thing that my children really enjoy doing together is baking cookies. They work as a team and don't argue (for the most part). I love being the silent observer watching how they decide who will have what responsibility. They each have their favorite piece of the process and ultimately work through the recipe together.

My three bakers.

Tyler snitching the cookie dough.

A little love for sister.

I got your post. Does your friend have a blog? I assume she is waiting or has a little one from China with a name like panda mom? Emmie loves to bake with Sophia as well. We both had previous posts about baking. Emmie actually bought Sophia a chef outfit for Christmas. It was very cute....big chef hat and all! I tell her if she bakes...she cleans up! What are your rules? lol

She's at pandapalooza.blogspot.com
I came across her blog today and enjoyed it.

My rules. I don't do as good of a job as I should about having my children clean up. I actually cleaned up after this latest cookie production.

I need to do better with that. Kitchen cleaning, room cleaning, chores..I have to be a better enforcer.

love the kitchen cookie baking, made my mouth water by the way with the cookie "snitching" (could I have some raw cookie dough too, please, hehe)...

Thank you SO much for all your effort in connecting me to Steffie B. She commented on mine tonight, but I still can't get to her comments. It tells me "moderator has enabled comments" and something else and then it won't post what I have written. I hate using you as a liason, but since I am linking BOTH of you onto my sidebar then I would like to be able to comment on hers as well. I just wanted her to see our playgroup in the same Brown-eyed girl shirts at Christmas. Please don't feel that you have to keep this up. I am a total stranger to you! Thanks again!! I look forward to keeping up with both of your blogs. Smile. (As I am trying to post this to yours it is making me do it over and over!!! GRRR! If there are multiple posts of this then please just delete the extras so I don't look like a doofus!)

Hi, thank you for leaving comments on my blog! I am glad to know I got the right stroller! I was just using my best judgment, but I thought it sounded good! I am happy to follow your story. You have a beautiful family.

I think if I turned my 3 boys loose in the kitchen, surely there would be a fight and it would all end up on the floor.

Woops! Is there some protocol I should follow? I already added you to my sidebar yesterday! When I find a blog I like then I just link to them. HA!! Please, go ahead and add me as either PandaMom or Pandapalooza. The more the merrier! I just am starting to run out of time to enjoy all the blog links that I am adding. Maybe I should just become a full-time blogger....I wonder what the salary and benefits are for that profession??HA! Later...
