Thanks for your post about my recent find (that poem) and what it meant to me. It's surreal to me to have lost so much in such a short amount of time. My hope is that it will make me a stronger, more compassionate mom...
I didn't realize you had lost your mom. I'm sorry. I know that is something we never get over. I think the same is true in divorce, at least in some cases. And my heart will always have this void where my first daughter lived...

I am an everyday woman. I am married to my soulmate. I have three sons ages 16,13 & 4. Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.
