I have been looking over at your travel blog thinking you were going to post there but just realized your back here again. Anyway, just caught up on everything and I am so happy she is doing so well. She looks like she has always just been a part of your family and seems so happy. I am just thrilled for you guys!! Her smile cracks me up. Our ped wanted to redo all mia'a shots as well and we went ahead and redid them all. It was horrible getting her poked and blood pulled but she got over it really quick. I would totally reward Sophia after-- like take her to get an ice cream cone as a bribe to get though thet shots and blood work. She is precious and her and Eli are a crack up together-- true siblings-- fighting and all. I think that is the best compliment of all-- that they already fight- that means they are both totally acclimated and comfy with the whole situation. Too fun!!!!
"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, KNOWS that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12
I am an everyday woman. I am married to my soulmate. I have three sons ages 16,13 & 4. Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.
