Ooooooooooooooooooooh I won! I feel bad that I won again but I can't get the grin off my face! I'M SO EXCITED!
Kimberley you are the hostess with the mostest! You are the Bee's Knees! You are the cat's pajamas!
You are so sweet you could bring a tear to a glass eye....
Hahahaha I'm a little hyper! Sorry ladies... I am just so excited for our April and her baby girl!
Aparently I am early and having the party all by myself..... An entire conversation..... there is much laughter and I am having a ball................ won't someone else come and play....
Apirl you are Instant messagine me but I am over here at your party talking to myself!
morning daleea...I just read your conversation, so it's safe to say you're not talking to yourself, lol
Hi there Daleea! We were still chatting under the Sat Chat post. We're here now!
Daleea,
I just kept a list of people who asked to have the list sent out to them and you were number 5! It was all on the up and up, you can look below and see if there is anything you like. I didn't think about getting something special for an older girl. What size does Hannah wear? I could send her something special.
kim you got my request too right?
Dannye,
Yes, do you want me to get the list to you this morning??
Depending on how many people there are, I'll send out some more prizes too. I have quite a few things.
I have to get caught up...I was still over at the other chat. I am still really sleepy. lol
I'm so glad I am not alone.... lol
I can't believe my Peep is an "older girl"
booohooohoooohooooohoooo
sorry april i should have told you, lol....
whenever you send the list is fine kim, it saturday so i do some shopping with my mom, and i'll check out the list whenever...
I just sent it out to you Dannye!
I am sorry but I am cracking up!
I am trying to remember how I came across April. I think it was you Daleea and when I saw she was raising money for Brianna at Starfish, I knew she was a kindred spirit.
kim, where did you get the high maintenance onesie??? it's adorable...
Why are you cracking up D?
thanks kim
Daleea...stay over here. I'm going to cut you off. I need COFFEE and can't keep one chat going much less two.
I found it at Tuesday Morning and I just busted up when I saw it.
so april, excited? nervous? all bundled in one?
Yes,
Tell us everything you know about Eliana if you can. Where was she found? Do you know much about her story?
Good Morning April, Iam still alittle sleepy also. I am so happy for you and patrick. Mom
Hi there, stopping by to give well wishes to April and Eliana. Please share an address that I can send a little something something to.
Welcome Mom, I think it is great that you dropped by.
Hi there Verna, how are you my friend? I will get the list right over to you.
Not looking forward to early mornings and very very excited and nervous has come to mind several times. Trying to chat with Daleea on Yahoo and keep up with chat all on no coffee is good for me...it is getting me prepared. I'm most nervous about Eliana being 20-22 months old when we get her.
Hi Everyone!
Happy shower day, April!
Mya wants to know where Eliana will be living.
I just got it out to you Verna : )
Good Morning Paula!
I am sorry, I am having a hard time figuring out how this process works.... lol I was cracking up because April and I were on Instant Message and she was trying to talk to me on it but I was here talking to myself while you all were on the Sat. Chat.... then I go to Instant message April and she is at the Sat chat talking to y'all but y'all are here talking to eachother now...... So, April and I have been talking to ourselves all morning!
I just crack myself up!
April,
I am posting a lot of gotcha day stories on No Place Like Home. I tell you, little Graeme, Margaret Miracle's little boy had a great transition.
Some children have a harder time. But with some love and patience, Eliana will be just fine.
About Eliana...I have to be so careful because of the new Hague I feel like we are living a little bit of a communist life (with the adoption that is) and are told what we can and can't say.
She was 2 months old when she was found with a note with her DOB and name her birth parents gave her at a local hospital. She has a repaired cleft lip / un-repaired palate.
Hi Mom, Verna, now Paula...
You guys are going so fast. How will I ever keep up with a tot.
I can't keep up! I was doing much better understanding the conversation when it was just me. HA!
Good morning everyone... this is so fun!
Kimberley I am so glad you and April have become dear friends... yes, you two are kindred spirits
April is my Old Same and oh, how I love her.
It is funny, talking on-line. I guess I'm just so used to it now with the Saturday Morning Chat Group. I love it though because you really get a weekly update from everyone and you know what's going on in their lives.
April,
What size clothes do you think she will be wearing when you bring her home? AND
Kimberly,
Are you through review yet? or getting close?
May I have a Brown eyed girl t-shirt again please...... I would love to put it on my blog to raffel or somehow to raise money for Carla. At first I wanted to give it away but I so want to help Mia Hope come home to her family
We have 9 rsvp's so far...so I think that is great. Some ladies couldn't make the shower, so they let me know to send out the list.
April,
I am keeping track of everyone who rsvp's and will get that list over to you after the shower.
Is there an easier way to do this or do you just keep refreshing and scrolling down?
Absolutely Daleea,
I have 12 and 18 month sizes, which would you like?
April I am making coffe, I will send you a cup. lol
Wow, 9 RSVP'S that is Great!
Once we get enough comments, it will stay down. So, if we just keep on chatting, eventually it will stay down and you hit refresh and just the latest comment will show.
Send me a cup too Mom : )
Eliana will be living in Bellingham, WA although if Daleea had it here way we would be living in GA, but I've got my eye on Minnesota.
On Eliana's size right before Kelly left they got an update on Elizabeth and she is just a few days younger than Eliana and she thinks she will need 12 month clothes. I'm thinking maybe 18 month clothes????
kim i emailed you what I will getting...so you can update the list
oh, that is pretty cool! It won't be so difficult for me then. lol
18 months please and thank you so much
I will get it out to you Daleea!
Thank you so much for all of the graphics. I am just thrilled to the moon with how the blog looks.
April,
Wait a minute, what do you mean your keeping your eye on Minnessota?
If you move anywhere, your coming back here to Tahoe girlie!
Thanks mom. Neither on of us realized that we were out of coffee in the grinder...the coffee is Patrick's department and he didn't realize it either. He just got out of the shower and is headed to Starbucks. Watch out one the coffee kicks in. I will be like Daleea in the beginning.
I updated the list Dannye!
Did you get your coffee???
You are going to be the best Mom ever. So relax and enjoy the ride.
I can't believe 9 RSVP already. That blows me away. You ladies are so great. This is really fun. I have to go read and see what else has been written...brb
Tim and I went to the grocery store to get some coffee last night. We are big time coffee drinkers.
We received a gift of coffee from 'Osborne Odds and Ends' from Texas and it was so fabulous. Can't get it here in Michigan though.
O.K., enough of this talk about coffee, I can't drink it anymore because of my stomach and now I'm craving a latte. :)
You are going to be the best Mom ever April.
I am so thrilled for you. I cannot wait to get a Christmas card this year with a photo of Eliana on the front.
Maybe she will be wearing my gift!! I am sending your shower gift and your auction dress together on Monday.
Okay, so if you know me I'm the most impatient person I know...What was marked off the list. lol Okay, I know I can't know that. :-) Had to try though.
Paula, Did you win the Lotto? Be right there and moving right into that beautiful house Jon is building.
I will have to check out that story Kimberley. Does anyone have an suggestions about books on attachment?
How is little Hannah this morning Paula?
I love that photo of her on Daleea's auction blog wearing her new little outfit. She is a darling girl.
Are you going out today Dannye?
I can't wait to see your gift Kimberley. I will tell you the idea of having a child is making me panic a little because I have been so bad about everything for the last several years. Last Christmas was the first time we decorated in years and I actually sent a few cards out. I think something I HAVE to get this weekend is an address book. Yeah, that's right I don't have one. I just have little corners off envelopes everywhere.
Thanks for the vote of confidence about being a mom.
Verna where did you go?
Kimberly,
Hannah is doing really well. She's hoping for a brother or sister.
She just woke up, so I'll be gone for a little while getting her breakfast. Be back soon...
my dad is driving my mom over this morning so i don't have to pick her up (so i can stay a while longer), but yes, mom and I go to Sams (I know I know) to do some shopping, the price of a gallon of milk and the loaves of bread are worth the trip, and then we walk Target, look around at Carters (that's so very tempting all the time, hehe), sometimes make our way to Bath and Body Works...it's kinda our exercise to walk around, spend time together every weekend, and resist the temptation to buy, buy, buy!! hehe
April,
These were the books that were recommended the most by women on No Place Like Home
Toddler Adoption, The Weaver's Craft by Mary Hopkins-Best
Attachment in Adoption by Deborah Gray
I voting another sister for Hannah!
sorry April, but you'll have to wait to see what comes in the mail to you...i'll try to get it out early this week so you don't have to wait long...
I think it's great that you set time aside each week for your Mom Dannye.
i think hannah will be a great big sister to either a brother or a sister, and that Paula and Jon will be such great parents to both!! Hopefully they will be picked soon!!
April,
Don't buy any of those books becaue I think I might have them and can give them to you. When we were originally going for international adoption we had to buy them all to complete our home study.
You are so welcome for your graphics. Thank you for letting me do them. And Ilove how your baby pink looks way better than the background I sent you. It is so much softer this way and looks like a baby shower!
Sounds like a fun time with your mom. I don't think at this stage in the game that Carter's would be a place I wouldn't by something at. I LOVE Carters.
she's a great friend of mine Kim (I will be so lost when she's gone....), i talk to her on the phone all the time (except when i'm at work unless there is a prob...that is usually when she calls me to say, "RMJ updated her blog, did you see it?" or "Janet posted about her trip to get Adam and Jeanne, you gotta go online and check it out"....yes my mom is a stalker on most of your websites and follows you guys faithfully, but she has WebTV and not too comfortable with commenting, even on mine....lol)
Thanks, Dannye that is sweet of you to say. The reason April is saying girl is because she knows something.
We are being considered by a young woman who is pregnant and due in August with a girl. Anything could happen at this point, we haven't been chosen, so I don't want to get too excited. But you never know what plans God has.
Thanks Paula that would be great. I have had those in my Amazon wish list for months now but didn't know if they were good or not. I get cautious sometimes when it come too books. There is so much bad information that I am over cautious.
everything is so cheaply priced too April at our Carters, so it's hard but since we don't really know how old/big Chynna will be....but she does have quite a few dresses/outfits, and i figure if they are too small I can pass them on to others here online or donate them to her orphanage, etc.
Oh good Paula...I just e-mailed you. I was busting over here with this conversation. lol
OH MY GOSH! I know I am behind but now ihave to catch up! Paula and I are going to have to Duke it out! But this Minnasota stuff needs to end! I will buy you a pet moose.
Sorry, everytime I try to catch up I get distracted... the Poo Poo platter was just delivered to Diaper Town so Ihad to take care of business.... Thanks for being patient with me and my 3 days toolate comments
Dannye,
Your Mom reads my blog? That is so cool.
Paula,
That is great that you have those books. I had never heard of them, so quite a few of the women recommended those same ones.
Have you seen the really cute purple(lavender) and white outfits that are there? For whatever reason I see Eliana as a purple girl. Patrick has told me no more spending so that I why I haven't bought everything that is purple and white at Carters. I think that might be over kill. It is hard even now to know what to buy.
What???? Pet moose, I know I am missing somethere here : )
Paula,
Wow! When will you know for sure if you have been chosen by the young women to adopt the little girl?
Paula if you don't want them back after I read them I will send them to Kimberley. Does that work?
i just love all the stuff at Carters...Chynna's closet is full of lavendars, pinks, reds, peaches....can't wait to see her in them
HOw exciting Paula! I will be praying for the babies birth Mom to make the right choice. If she is yours how wonderful that she can be in your arms so quickly!
I would love to read them if that's ok with Paula. Paula, I can even get them back to you when I am finished.
Oh, Kimberley, please forgive me. I still haven't gotten you the list of books. However Toddler Adoption was the main one I wanted to recommend.
yes Kim my mom loves all the blogs....although i have to admit she is obsessed with RQ
Would you please Daleea. That would be awesome, but you know I can't raise a moose in GA or Tahoe. At least MN is keeping it in the lower 48.
Sorry Kimberley...I LOVE moose. We used to go camera moose hunting when we lived in Wyoming and I would talk to them. I miss my moose so much. I cried like a baby when we moved. Okay, now everyone is going to be saying never mind on that list...we have a crazy lady here. I have been called the Crazy Moose Mama so much.
I don't think that's crazy.
We have named a swan on our lake George and we talk to him and feed him when he comes to our dock.
I have "Talking with Young Children about Adoption" and "Toddler Adoption" if anyone wants them
Mom are you still there? My mom lurks on all your blogs too. :-) She usually doesn't leave messages.
That is funny that your mom Dannye is obsessed with RQ. I was up to the point about the post about concurrent adoptions one SN and one NSN. We had permission until that whole thing came about. The CCAA saw how huge it would be and shut it down. Ever since I haven't been back.
Dannye, hang in there..... she will one day be in your arms and oh, how I love her name!
Hmmm . . . can't decide on the list items. I know one thing that I like the most are the toddler bibs at Tarjay boutique. (Target) -verna
You know what would be cool if we could find an easy way to do it?
Coordinate a book swap. List what books you have and are willing to send and what books you want to read and get matched up and swap.
oh please April, I am the obsessed Frog Lady....so much so that when tadpoles took over our pool, I had my hubby scoop them out, we put them in a fish tank and I tried to raise them to frogs...the people in the pet store thought I was nutty buying the stuff for the tadpoles/frogs...
nothing crazy there, lol
Hey there Verna. I do love Tarjay! I get so much stuff there.
that's a good idea Kim....
48 is too stinkin' cold! I love that you named your beautiful swan... GEORGE!
Have you read Toddler Adoption? Is it good. I really never thought I would adopt a toddler...what am I going to do. I know infants really really well, toddlers...not so well, that is when I would give them back to their moms. lol I would love to read it and then pass it along.
April, are you seriously thinking about Minnesota cuz you can come live by me. That would be so fun!
thank you Daleea....we love her name too...we got lots of slack from anonymous people on my blog at first about it ("you're focusing on her adoption too much instead of her as a person" or "why would you name your daughter after the country she was born in"), so that is why I moderate comments now on my blog, who asked them their opinion anyway???
I love Targe' hardly ever get to go though....
The book swap is a wonderful idea!!!
Hi Verna...
Is this how you keep up with the conversation.... I am such a dork!
No! No! No! Verna!!!! She is MINE!
I'm here but my browser keeps crashin -- RSVP and send me her list? I'm jumping back on the adoption train myself -- ethiopia.
congrats to you, april -- I have adopted two toddlers from China and it was fabulous, both times. They're in the next room going nuts as I type!
i read part of it April, but since I am hoping and praying Chynna won't yet be a "toddler", well just couldn't get into it, so I would rather pass it along to others who would get more out of it...let me know and I can send it to you if you'd like
April,
You will do the best you can, just like we all do.
There is no perfect Mom, there are days when we really get it right and days when we blow it.
I will say that toddlers are a lot of work. They are into everything! They want to be right beside you, I am just getting to the point where Eli leaves me alone in the bathroom.
But let me tell you, the kissed and the hugs and the way they believe your kisses can heal them and your cuddles make the world right is priceless.
You are on the verge of the most amazing love of your life.
(move to Ga April.... move to Rincon, Ga..... this is your concience speaking)
Yes, you must read toddler adoption but do not let it frighten you or intimadate you. Only let it prepare you as much as you can be in case there are some behavior and or attachment issues!
verna, i get so many compliments on the signature you designed....thank you again!!
Hey, I didn't mention MN --It was her idea. Who am I to argue with a great idea. Who wouldn't want to live here--big crop of misquitoes this year, great hockey team and of course the famous Dr Dana Johnson down at the international adoption clinic!!!!!!!! The fact that I live here is just a bonus.
Hi there Thatgirl!
How are you??? For sure you are go persuing Ethiopia? I am so excited for you. I am seeing the most beautiful babies coming from Africa.
I will get the list out to you. And you win a prize, you are the 10th rsvp. What do you want?
actually April, move to Fla., move to Fla., central Fla to be exact....most people will come to visit you eventually....hehe
I love Tarjay too. What bibs are you talking about?
Love the book swap idea. I really don't have any to swap yet, but Paula is going to help me out with that and maybe Dannye if someone hasn't already piped up.
I'm glad you all have wonderful animals that you talk to in the wild. Sure glad you are taking care of those tadpoles. Did you know that the frog is in grave danger right now and they are trying very hard to keep them from going extent (all frogs). We used to have so many in our back that it was almost hard to talk outside without speaking very loudly, but there is some funky algae that is killing them. We don't have anymore frogs. There was a news report about it last week down in Seattle and it is across the world. They don't know what is causing the killer algae.
the only disadvantage is of course the humidity, and those stinking hurricanes every so often, but hey otherwise, WOO HOO Fla., hehe
Dannye, sometimes people just don't get it!
April saw her first moose when she was 5, and has loved them ever sence. She has a BIG basket full of moose and all have names. she is moose crazy. sorry april i have to give you a bad time and let these ladys in on the real you.Mom
oh Kimberley, everything you said to April about the love of your toddler is so true and oh, so precious
well i am doing my part for sure....we have loads of em in the backyard, they "sing" every night
Where in MN do you live Verna. Sorry Daleea and Paula...
On my blog yesterday theroadtosiji.blogspot.com I posted a video of BOUNDARY WATERS CANOE AREA WILDERNESS and I think it looks so wonderful, but I really like low crowds, but I don't know if MN is the right place to get away from that. What do you think?
I really do love the toddler years. You are the center of the universe. It is a very precious time.
alright guys, Mom is here now, so i better get going....April congrats, and be on the lookout....I'll mail your present and Toddler Adoption to you.....have a good one guys!! hugs and kisses from Fla.!
I love frogs too.... I had no idea April. That makes me so sad. Not only are frogs darling but they are very important! We have darling little bright lime green frogs... I love it when they are on our glass doors at night... you can see their little suction cup feet. We have lots of toads... I just love little toads too. we get little families... the Papa, Mama and a baby... it is so sweet and I always talk to them... same converstation... "Hello little toad. Eat lots of bugs!"
I haven't seen a frog yet this year. We have lots of turtles, but no frogs right now.
yes April I am still here. Yes I watch you girls blogs, and leve comments some times,But don't want to intrude to much. I enjoy you storys a lot.
Tell your Mom hi from me. Have a great day Dannye!
Bye Dannye, have a wonderful day! I think we should all move to FLA!
Woohoo
Thank you Mom for inside April scoop!
I love that you are here.
I love the stories your mom is sharing with us... too sweet
By Dannye, Thanks for your support and can't wait for you shower someday hopefully soon. Have fun with your mom. Bye
PS. I can't wait to see Eliana's gift. Thank you so much.
How exciting Thatgirl about your journey for your child in Ethiopia. God's Speed
I have such a heart for Africa. I have thought about adoption from there as well but I feel the Lord leading us back to China for our Isabella
April, You will do great with Eliana. The bibs that I like so well are about the size of a kitchen towel with a hole for their head to go through. Often they have Sesame street characters on them. Here's a link:
http://www.target.com/Boys-Sesame-Street-Bib-Set/dp/B0010XTHNW/sr=1-2/qid=1214061505/ref=sr_1_2/601-5612726-6556101?ie=UTF8&pricerange=&index=target&field-browse=1038576&rh=k%3Abib&page=2
Yes April,
You are going to have to post your gifts on your blog when you get them!
Oh Verna! Those are the best bibs ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Hannah has one with a little island girl monkey on it and I love it!
O.K. , I'm back for a bit.
April and Kimberly, you guys can Have WHATEEVER books I have on adoption. I'll mail them to you April and then you can pass them on to Kimberly.
We will probobly know THIS week if we are chosen by the young woman.
I love BIG bibs too. The little ones are good for babies, but the big ones are nice for the older ones because they keep their shirts and pants clean.
Kimberley, thanks for the encouragement.
Not too many stories mom. They will really see that I'm crazy. I have them sort of fooled right now. lol
This book is one I have wanted to get to you Kimberley. It is an ABSOLUTE MUST for toddler and older children who have behavior and or attachment issues... It truly was a gift from God with my Nicholas.
http://www.amazon.com/Holding-Time-Martha-G-Welch/dp/0671688782
Wow, how exciting Paula!
Sounds like another baby shower.
I love them.
Bring on the stories Mom! Snow Flower.... you know I WON'T THINK YOU ARE CRAZY!
Are you kidding, April, we already know your one crazy girl!
I will be praying for you paula
What a fun idea,,a baby shower online
Thank you, Daleea. I would love prayers. The young womans name is the same as my little girl :)
I don't want to say it blatantly because this is a public blog, but you get the drift.
Paula, How exciting is that. Sorry folks, I just have a hard time keeping up with all these comments. I like frogs too but not as much as my kids. We have quite a few different types. We live in the middle of lowlands--lots of cattails, misquitoes, frogs, ducks, turkeys, squirrels, opposums, deer, etc. We are 30 mi No of Minneapolis in a little town called East Bethel. Everyone has acres. We have lots of privacy and still have accessible stores. I like it. I was raised on a farm. I think I have the best of both worlds. I think FL would be great to visit and also GA. During the winter I like that idea even better.
I added that book to the list at the other blog.
I have been approved by Amazon to put these books on my blog so that people can purchase them if they like. Then I can use the proceeds to help families who are adopting or Starfish.
We just have to get it all figured out and on the blog.
Have fun Ladies. I'm going to play with the kiddos this morning. It's beautiful out. Will be sending something to April too. Have a great day one and All. as a friend of mine says Smoochies!
Welcome Holladay Family!
Yes, we have a lot of fun at our blog showers, it gives us a chance to celebrate the new babies who are coming home to our friends all over the country.
That is pretty special Paula.... you know how I am patial to your daughter's name....
Don't worry Verna I'm not keeping up very well my self. Now you have me drooling over MN even more. Patrick lived in FL for 3 months and said he hopes he will never have to move back. Nice place to visit.
I'm thinking MN sound mighty nice. Patrick works for Wells Fargo and so there is real possibilities there. Although, I want to move to Moose Lake and I don't think it is big enough for a commercial lender.
Sorry guys, this will split off when we hit 200 comments and we won't have to scroll so much. For some reason I thought it would stay down. This is a busy shower though, with lots of comments.
Have a great weekend Verna!
Bye Verna, enjoy!
Kimberley that is so wonderful that you worked it out for the books... you are just wonderful!
Are you having fun April?
Oh, and are you collecting quilt squares??
I am excited to see how it works when we hit 200 Kimberley... will I miss any comments? Or will I still get to see them all? Or should I just wait and see.... teehee
APRIL! DON'T BREAK MY HEART ON THIS HAPPY DAY!
Bye Verna, Can't wait to meet you in person once we get moved. Have a great day...thanks for coming.
That is great about the books and Amazon. I am a hug Amazon fan anyway and now even bigger.
Yes, I did look into it after talking with you about it Daleea.
Hopefully it will give us a slush fund to help families.
I was thinking of putting it on the Seventh Diamond too, but I don't want people to think I'm getting all commercial.
If I had the money, I would just give it to people. I am hoping that maybe this will be a good way to get a fund started that can be used for whoever needs it.
I am having fun. I hope you y'all are too.
Yes about the quilt squares. I have been collecting for about 4 months and have 24 so far. You didn't send me your address yet so I can send you some.
I owe about 4 people squares, so I need to sit down and make them and get them in the mail.
Hello from Beijing!!
I can't believe we are finally here, and so excited I could jump in at the end of April's baby shower!!
Fine April! Move to Minnasota! I am moving to China anyway!!!!!!
There is a plan in the works for a fundraiser for you April. I can't bear you giving plasma.
Do you have any ideas on what you would like to do? The raffles seem to be going well.
Can anyone think of anything good to raffle off?
KELLY!!!
I am so excited to hear from you!!! What's going on? How is it in Beijing!!!
Hi Kelly.... how fun to have you!
Oh Kelly...You made my day... I am crying here. You are so close to my baby...How are you. I have no idea what you wrote I just saw that you are here.
Check it out...you are so popular April that you get special guests from China at your baby shower!
I understand what you mean Kimberley! I think people are going to get tired of me asking them for money. Oh, how I would love to have enough to help the babies and to bring children home to their families.... but, it is all in God's hands and He will provide.
However, you should put it on your blog. All you are doing really is offering a service. People will buy the books anyway. they might as well help a child and a family in the process.
Wow, Kelly is here. Yippee.
Kelly, when is your Gotcha day?
I will put it on my blog too even though I don't get much traffic. I would love to help Robin bring Mia Hope home.
I know...I am so excited. I can't believe she is here. Sorry to all of you I didn't mean to make it sound like you are not making my day because you are too...it just happens to be that Kelly is so close to my girl that it in someway makes me fell very connected.
Beijing is HOT and MUGGY! Can't see across the street for the haze.
Long day of traveling, but not as long as our travel companions. Karen (K1) here as well, we met up with her in Tokyo.
Our family (incl. Karen) will be separating from the group tomorrow and will tour the Temple of Heaven Complex and the MuTianYu section of the Great Wall (the one with the tram and toboggans). Looking forward to that. We meet EJJB on Monday!!!
How exciting Kelly. Wow! Take a LOT of pictures...I know you will.
You guys have been busy -- lots and lots of comments! I haven't read any of them, but caught a glimpse of some that make no sense at all -- like April, you're moving? Really?
It's almost midnight here, and Katie is still up and bouncing around. Must get her to sleep (but she slept well on the planes). It's going to be fun to get her on a different schedule only to have to turn her back around in two weeks!
Kelly! I am sooooooooooo happy for you! I didn't know you were in china!!!!! Sometime may I please have an invite to your blog..... I want to share in your journey too. I will be praying for you and your precious child.
Ohhhhh how very happy!
Please blow China a kiss for me and tell her I will be coming soon God Willing....
Something to look forward to...that haze. I'm thinking I better got to the doctor and get an inhaler and antibiotics for me. I get bronchitis very easily with pollution and smoke.
April, that makes more sense than you know! I used to even eat Chinese food because it made me feel closer to Hannah
Daleea,
Her travel blog is at No Place Like Home and you don't need a password to get to it.

This will keep everyone going while Kelly is in China.
I was very excited that all of our bags made it -- made the boys mad, though, 'cause I packed 1/2 of each of their clothes in 2 suitcases (instead of all of one kids' clothes in one) -- thought it would be helpful if some of the luggage got lost, so everyone would have something to wear! Didn't go over so well with the boys....{{{sigh}}}
Kimberley,
Are you nuts? Me, take a lot of pictures? Nah.
OF COURSE!!! I have lists of things to take pictures of!
April, I didn't know that. YOu need to get those perscriptions. I had one of the worse sinus infections in my life from our beautiful room in Nanchang. It was lovely but filled with mold. You couldn't see it but could smell it. There was lots of mold in Guangzhou too. Didn't have any in Beijing but just in case... it is so humid there that there is lots of mold
April,
Are you moving????
If you move east then we may have to go to Disneyworld instead of Disneyland.

We are planning a "blogger mama and daughter" drip maybe next year, won't that be fun if everyone can meet there and we can have a blogger mama reunion!!!
Kelly,
That is actually are really great idea. I have not heard back from Angela or Kelly. I guess I wasn't meant to be. I am still trying though.
I didn't even know! Thanks guys now I feel like I am in the loop! Can't wait to visit you Kelly!
April, if you ever do any type of scrapbook, Dad just took a picture of me writing comments on your baby shower! Too fun!
Kimberley, I'll miss seeing you in Church tomorrow.
I meant Trip...
I'm not moving anywhere until we get Eliana home and settled...then we will rip the carpet out from under the poor girl. lol I don't know if we will move or not. I love parts of it here, but I'm a country moose not a city moose. :-)
I am thinking about you every day Kelly and will say some prayers for your family.
Verna did some tweeking so that we don't have to scroll through all of the comments.
THANK YOU VERNA!
Well, we have lots of nice country out here... and lots of Wells Fargos :)
How fun that would be Paula! I would love to see everyone at DisneyWorld.
That was very smart Kelly
