Good Morning Everyone and Welcome to April's Baby Shower for little Eliana! The baby shower runs from 10am to 2pm (I'm on Eastern Time). It is an open chat, so just jump right into the comments and say hello to everyone. If you would like to rsvp and receive April's gift list, just leave that in the comments and I will get her gift list and address over to you. If you want to purchase a particular item, just let me know and I will remove it from the list.

HAPPY BABY SHOWER!!! I'm so excited to be able to be a part of Eliana's special day! I would have never guessed that we would be able to share this special time together, with you in Washington and me way out here. : ) How does it feel being the expectant mama? The center of attention at your baby shower? : ) We feel so blessed to hold Eliana close to our hearts in prayer...she is such a precious girl. Can't wait to get our arms around her. I'm thinking about what I have. I have some little hand knitted baby outfits my mother-in-law made and I don't think she will notice one more being gone. I just made another tag blanket. lol Let me think.
The best fundraisers I have seen have one big prize and people donate around $10 to be entered to win. We just need to find the one big prize.
One big prize. Hum. I have a thought. We will see if my mom freaks...I have a check that her and my dad sent for the adoption and maybe I could buy something with it and make more money? What do y'all think?

Well, I think we might just be winding down a little bit. I'm going to keep the shower up all day though. I know that there will be comments all day long on here for the list.
I have a Chicco Carset/Stroller combo that is brand new and cost $300 that I will not be able to use. The car seat is rated the safest. We could just do the car seat alone...because the stroller I can use.
Why won't you be able to use it?
It does seem to be just you and me talking. By there being two winners it seems like there have been 10 people that have requested the list. That is so exciting. Thanks for doing this. It has been so much fun.

It is an infant carrier and Eliana will be too big. It still has tags on and everything. The stroller I can use, but the car seat I will not be able to.
There have been 11 people so far. One woman named Lisa sent me an e-mail. I don't know who she is for sure though, so I am waiting for confirmation back from her. She's probably someone I talk to all the time and just don't recognize her hotmail address. I'm sure I'll be embarrassed when she tells me who she is.
There will be more throughout the day though I'm sure.

I'll talk to Verna about it. You will need to get a chip in for your blog. If you don't know what that is, I will help you. People click on the chip in and make their donation to your paypal account. If you don't have a paypal account, please get one...it will help a lot.
You will get an e-mail a confirmation by name of each person who makes a donation and you can enter them into the raffle to win the carseat.
