These are some photos from Tyler's concert. This was bitter sweet for me since Tyler has chosen not to play again next year. His school makes it very unattractive to stay in band. If you continue playing, you can take no electives. So, this was the last concert I will be at for quite some time.
They sounded wonderful. I was very proud of all of them all. It was neat to look down at all of the children and recognize so many of them from my years as a room mom. They are really growing up.

Great pictures...
Great Job Tyler..
Have a Great Evening..
Glad you had one more concert.
oh I know it gave you such special feelings to see him perform. I am sorry they make it unattractive to continue. That is very sad.
Great pictures! I have a Tyler too! How sad that he cannot continue band next year. It seems like he loves it. I was very sad watching my son Tyler's last football game this year. My son graduates from high school this year. They grow up way too fast!
Rock on Tyler. I enjoyed the pictures. Hope you uys had fun.
Hugs,
Jonni
i so hope my children will enjoy playing instruments one day ... i think it is such a great skill ... my honey can play by sound ... he taught himself guitar and piano ...
so glad you enjoyed each moment ...perhaps you can have a family band and just play for fun at home ...
All right! you must be so proud. That is sad that the schools make it difficult for the kids to stay in band.
Way to go Tyler. Too bad they make it difficult.
Kimberley,
I hate letting go of these kind of things myself. I hear ya. But, this is a memory maker!
Have a great day.

Great job, Tyler! Grant's last concert will be next week. He also decided not to play next year.
Very cool --
I love having kids in the band. I have to say that both K & T (freshman in HS & 7th grade) LOVE being in the band -- even though they don't get any electives. They've got the "coolest band director in the world" and they're happy with their choices. Plus, K says being in the marching band "rocks".
Hope Tyler continues with his French Horn -- it's such a gorgeous instrument! (that's what K plays -- only in the marching band he plays the mellophone instead)
that looks so cool! I wish Anthony would get inspired to band....he dropped guitar!
I tried to have Joey take up band also, but you are right they make it so unattractive to the kids now a days.
I still have Lil Luis and Mickey. I hope they will get into band.
Love the pics. Maybe he can still play at home for you?
OH what a very special night!!! I know your Mommy Peacock feathers were spread! And rightfully so! Great pictures of a beautiful evening listening to the sweet sounds of you son & these children that you have grown to adore as your Tyler shares life and school times with them!
Oh what sweet blessings!
Love,
Denise
Oh how I remember sitting at my children's events knowing I may not ever see them quite like "this" again...Knot in my throat! Too bad the school has made it difficult, they will see results down the road as talent leaves and does not return in upper school...:(
Love the concerts. Sorry you will have to wait to attend another one.
What a great accomplishment. I bet that even if he doesn't play at school he'll still pick it up now and then and really enjoy it.
How awesome that he's had this opportunity.
Enjoy~

He looks so , well...'beautiful'! I am sorry this is his last year. What a bummer. Schools have just GOT to get a grip!!
PS you can be sure i will give Bailey a big kiss from you! Thank you so much for all your love and support and special care!! It means the world to me and i know if she understood, to Bailey also!!
A big hug to you!!
Sharon
Glad you enjoyed the concert, but it's too bad Tyler won't continue. Hopefully he'll find another outlet for his creative uses.
I always wish I had stayed in band.No musical talents here sorry to say.
