One of our neighbors had this old rowboat on the side of his house. He hadn't touched it in many years. He wanted to get rid of it and Tim instantly claimed it.
When Tim was a boy, he spent a lot of time at his Grandparent's lake. They had a rowboat just like this one. So, this boat is a stroll down memory lane for him. He has very fond memories of rowing around his Grandparent's lake fishing. Now this old boat has a new lease on life. These are some pictures of Tim and Eli testing out the boat to see if it still floats. It does!!

What a great thing to do! Looks like your family is going to have a great time with the boat.
That looks SO relaxing. Can I come over?
Ummm, glad it floats!
What a wonderful time for Eli and his daddy to share.
The boys look like they are having a blast.. How fun that would be..

Looks like a very fun summer!
Cuteness! We have two kayaks (one for me and one for Joel). Unfortunately, they are single seaters, so K. won't be able to ride with either of us. When she gets older, though, I'm sure she will use the yaks.
Ah...nothing like a row on the lake!
Love it, love it, love it!
AHHHH! Now that is slowing down life a little. I need to learn to do this more.....
Looks great...makes me want to be at the cottage right now!
Just plain cool. That's all I got...
What wonderful memories will be made in this boat. Enjoy!
Looks just like our row boat when I was growing up on a lake in Maine! At one time we had a 5 1/2 HP outboard on it too! Such fun.
Enjoy!

What a sweet picture!
Ohhh is that a cute picture. How fun. I used to go fishing w/ my Grandma on Lake St. Helen in MI when I was little on a boat just like that. Brings back great memories. Eli will cherish that time w/ his Daddy.
Just looking at those pictures makes me relaxed!
precious pictures!
What a dream!
Good stuff! The 2nd generation will now have wonderful memories of their own.
Keep smilin!
So sweet!
They look adorable together.
Looks heavenly...reminds me of when my girls were little, we lived on an island and took a boat to our home. Fun on a sunny day but not so great when loading two toddlers and a boat load of grocries;)
It looks like 2 boys that are in heaven!! I'd love to have a row boat or canoe, the hubs thinks I'm crazy..... (the jury is still out on that one) ;0)
So very special. I'll be over for dinner tonight. I like pizza, fish or sushi. Later I'd like to go out on the lake too. K?
What a treasure. Your photos are beautiful as they are capturing a priceless moment in time shared with a Father and his son. Life is sweet.
What wonderful pictures.
Hugs,
Jonni
I was just wondering if Tim remembers being a little older than Elijah in this picture....when he and his mom went for a boat ride on grandpa Girvin's lake. Tim held up an object and ask "What's this mommy?" It was the "drain plug" from the boat!!! Needless to say, our feet got a little wet and I quickly rowed to shore..Love mom
