Many Blessings....

Congratulations to my dear friend Steffie on the referral of her new son. I am so happy for YOU and the clan. Your new boy is so handsome. I cannot wait until we have lunch to talk more about him. I had hoped we'd be in China together, but you are going to have to be the one who goes first. It is fitting, you have always been leading the way for me and I love you for it! Please give your congratulations at 'Never Too Many'.

Thank you to my girl Kim 'Isabella Bison' for this beautiful ornament. I can't believe you had this made for me since I totally blew it and didn't get mine ordered in time. Thank you so much, this will be a treasure always for my daughter. A sign to her that we thought and prayed for her long before she came home.
It is no secret that I have been struggling lately. We are working closely with our agency to find our daughter and are still in the process where we are reviewing referrals when our agency calls. So far this has been a very emotional experience. I want to thank Kayce for this card that she sent to me. It means a lot and could not be more perfect for where I am right now. Thank you so much for thinking of me Kayce, it's the little things sometimes that can turn your whole day around and your card was one of those things. Kayce's blog 'Stories of Life in the Middle of Adoption'.
I also have been reading this book. It's a work of fiction...a lot of Christians are getting worked up about it and saying that it guides people away from the Bible and to its own story. So...I say again it is a work of fiction. And I found it very soothing and enjoyed it very much. The message that I took from it is that God loves me and He is in control and He wants to have a very real relationship with me.

Oh Kim is the best! I'm so glad you got an ornament. It's good to see you post again. Adoption is not easy. Not for the faint of heart. You will not be the same person when it's all said and done. You will be better than you are today. You will be stronger and wiser. You have already helped so many and I can only imagine how God will use you in the future!

Nice to see you post again. Although I don't comment much, I do lurk on your blog as I love to see what you are up to next. Always there for everyone.
I know the right match is there for you and it will be better then you can imagine. I know you will keep the faith, just need to regroup sometimes.
After almost 3 years my daughter has her Lauren in her arms.. Lauren is 21 months and I know Donna would have liked a baby under 1 year, but yesterday after receiving Lauren she called me and said " Oh Mom, She is the right child for us, I knew it right away".. So even though You may want one thing, the right thing is what you will get... I know you will keep the faith!
Here is to Your Hopes and Dreams being fulfilled this year... with Prayers and Hugs.....Linda

Glad to see your post Kimberley. You are always in my prayers...there are parts of adoption that are so difficult and downright painful at times. It's all a part of the process and will make your meeting with Sophia Jane, the little girl you are supposed to have...all the more special. This WILL be your year dear friend, I know it!

And thank you for your kind comment about Will tomorrow. He'll be fine, I think it's harder on the moms sometimes to go through this stuff.

Welcome back, you were missed (not only in Bloggerville, but also in church on Sunday -- sorry about that, yes, we were there and looked, but didn't see you).

The ornament is wonderful (Kim rocks!).

I don't think it will be long at all until you see Sophia Jane's face. And when you do, and can finally post about her, the entire Adoption Community will celebrate with you. You are THAT important to everyone!

Hey, would you be free for an early lunch on Friday with the girls and me? We have something for Eli and want to bring it to you. Someplace kid friendly, like McD or Perkins?

Kimberley I am so sorry that you are going thru so much right now, it breaks my heart to hear you so down and I am so sorry that I asked a favor of you, I feel so stupid now. I want to share three verses that I have printed out and taped right by my desk so I can read them everyday.

We also pray that you will be strengthened with al his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy.
Colossians 1:11

Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Philippians 4:6

And this is my favorite and the one I lean on the most.

Don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.
Galatians 6:9

I pray that at least one of these verses has spoke to you today.

God bless you Kimberley.

Love, Kristy

Glad to see you popped back in. You have a lot of friends out here that truely love you and are praying for you.

Sophia will be THE right child for you when God reveals her to you.

I am reading The Shack too and find it a very interesting book. It really has opened my mind in the regard that we humans have, in our minds, so limited God's power, abilities, and His purposes for us.

Why CAN'T God appear in whatever shape, form, gender, or ethnicity He wants?? He created all of them in His image, so who are we to limit Him to our expected vision of Him?

Some of the other lessons Mack is learning are also timely and needed, especially the one about living in the Now, the Present, and not remain stuck in the past or be obsessed with the future. He wants us to walk daily with Him, not behind and not off ahead, but beside Him and our lives will be so much simpler if we do. If we are content in the present with Him, we won't worry so much about the future.

At least those are the lessons I'm taking away from the book so far.

Know that we love you. Go have a play date with my sis and the girls and Eli!!

So glad to see you are back. I have thinking about you & praying for you as well. Adoption is a hard road to travel, but God will lead you in the right direction.

I read The Shack. I really enjoyed it too.

YOU are a blessing to us all Kimberley! Like others have said, adoption is not for the faint of heart and I'd like to add that it is for those who are full of faith. Many hugs and continued prayers.

Hi Kim,
Just been praying for you that you will find peace with all of this.

You have some awesome friends!

The Shack is an amazing book that I feel should be read by everyone! It is so nice to hear how much God cares for us and the only thing that is important to him is our relationship with him and our happiness.

Tom and I have both read the Shack. I thought it was well written. Tom cried through the whole book. It touched him deeply and it helped him feel more at peace with God. Wonderful choice.
Praying for you Kimberly.

Oh Kim!! But I am getting excited for you because i know its when the eral struggle begins that progress finally is birthed through!! It is getting very close, all it takes is one day and you never know when you will wake up and it will be the day, a picture and that is it!

I read the shack, (dont' know what I think!ahha)

I AM praying for you!!

Sharon has told me about this book. I think Christian fiction is good sometimes and I usually walk away with something from it and it sounds like you have.

I am happy for Steffie too, I can't wait to see his little face.

You have the most giving heart. I have been reading a book about the heart, the spiritual heart. Waking the dead by Robert Eldridge. Just stay close to Him right now so you are listening for His voice. It is so hard to be still in this world. He will reveal Himself....I just know it!

Besides, there will be NO being still after Sophia comes home....that is for sure!!!! lol

I know Sophia is closer though, just hang on sweet friend, you have made it so far.
There is a family on my sidebar Forever and Always in Ethiopia right this minute aadopting their son. I am sure Jill would talk to anyone interested.
