Our First Gingerbread House...

This year we made our first gingerbread house. It's made from a kit, I'm not good enough at baking to make it truly by hand :) We had a lot of fun with it. Actually Eli and Tyler did since they were the main artists. I'm pretty sure that they ate more candy than they got on the house.

Your gingerbread house is quite lovely. What great family bonding time. Are you ready for all the snow they are predicting?

Happy Holidays!

It's cute! I bought a kit too, and the boys have been driving me crazy to do it, but I just haven't had the energy!! Hopefully, next week.

This is one of my boys favorite traditions to do with their grown cousins. My youngest son's favorite thing to do is after Christmas he puts the house in a garbage bag...and takes a baseball bat to it...twisted I know...but oh so fun to him:)
