The boys are home from school, so they were living the good life.
I had a crazy busy week at work. I'm so glad that it's the weekend.
I've really been working to get the new blog up and holding its own.
I also have a new project to launch on this blog for July and another baby shower for Lucy Joy scheduled for July 19th.

Good morning lovely ladies!!! The weather is perfect here (mid 80s) so we are enjoying the mild temps and my girl is already in a swimsuit so I guess that is what we are doing : )
Hope all of you have a great weekend. The weather is great here. We have Rise fest in town today with Mercy Me appearing. I am thinking of going.
Would be a great way to spend a summer day.

The new blog is starting to do what I was hoping it would do. When people put in google searches for adoption info, No Place Like Home is starting to come up and people are coming for information. I know that one of the advocate blogs has been contacted for information about Russian adoption, so that is very exciting.

doing well, thanks....as well as one can during this apparent ever increasing wait!!
we should be getting another update from our agency next week (hopefully), Snow (the head of our agency) always does a letter with our monthly newsletter, and I so need to see it this month...I am hoping it will say something about this wait...my heart is starting to hurt!! we just "celebrated" (yeah right like it was a celebration) our 23rd LID-versary, and with my 35th birthday on Tuesday (well let's just say I was hoping to be a mom before I was 35)....

If I was associated with the CCAA there would be very few orphanages because all the children would be with their families. Seems like this new Hague is only making things even harder for families and is taking longer. I really hurt for families.
