Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.

Eli is so cute. Great catch...did you cook it up for him? Nothing better than fish cooked right from the water, but I'm more of a catch and release gal...hard to do on a spin rod though. I can't stand killing the poor fish. I am a fly fishing purist that has a very quirky side. I always thank the fish for letting me catch it then I give it a kiss and send it off to be caught again. lol Eli is young so I will give him a break with that spin rod, but I will never encourage the quirky behavior. :-)
