Kelly from 'Katie's Antics' gave me this book to read. I read it while I was in Chicago on business 2 weeks ago. I could not put it down. Whenever I was in my hotel room, I was reading this book. It brought me to tears throughout the amazing true story. Jaclyn, the girl pictured above was adopted from an orphanage in China. While there, at the age of only 3, she had assumed the role of mother and protector to a small boy. After her adoption, she prayed daily and relentlessly entreated her mother to go back for this boy. This is the story of Jaclyn and "her baby" as she called him...Xiao Mei Mei.

Kimberley,
If you ever get the chance to hear Cindy tell this story -- GO! She goes into such detail.
I've been a bad blogger, but I certainly have been praying for your Grandma, and for wisdom for her doctors. I lost my only Grandma 14 years ago and I miss her all the time, so I'd like to see you keep yours!
Also have read this and loved it.
I highly recommend it too. :)
I read this book as we waited for Lily to come home. I think it planted the seed for my current adoption. I am thinking it is time to pull it out and read it again. I just love a good book and this is one of the best.
will have to get it ...love true stories of children and how they care for each other, how they survive, and how they change those around them ...
you have a shout out on my blog today ... i love ya girl ...
