Monday...

Oh man, this is going to be a crazy week for us. Zach has driver's ed on Monday and Wednesday, Tyler has tennis on Thursday. We got a new washer, one of those large front loaders. So, Tim's trying to get that picked up one night after work. I guess when I actually put it into writing, it looks like a normal week in the fall. I guess I've just been getting used to Spring and not having the kids in sports and activities.
Zach made the JV Hockey team for 2008-2009. He will go on to try out for Varsity in the fall. His love life is busting me up. I tell you, I can't even keep up with what is going on and talk about drama. The girl he had a crush on months ago, didn't like him back. So, he mustered up his courage a couple of weeks ago to ask a girl from church, who he had been friends with for months, to be his girlfriend. She said yes, I went to meet the parents and everything. Then 3 days later she broke up with him and hasn't spoken to him since. About a week after the break-up, he asks out another girl, but it seems like the original girl he has had a crush on all along may like him now. It's definitely a soap opera.
Last night I sat with Tyler and we chose his middle school classes for next year. I am very disappointed that he will not be continuing to play his french horn. I have some photos from his last concert that I will post tonight hopefully.
Eli, the 3 year old, has a new Good Boy Sticker Chart. I'll try to post it this week. Eli is strong willed to say the least..a huge drama king. I put together a grid chart with certain behaviors listed and when he makes the right decisions about his behavior, he gets to put a sticker on the chart. He loves it and so do I. Whenever he starts to get naughty, I tell him he's not going to be able to get his sticker and he straightens right up. It's a much needed miracle!

Well, that's it for Monday. Have a great week everyone!

Ohhh My friend Welcome to the "Girl" drama of a teenage boy! Last Saturday I took the boys to Sea World for a Concert. While there Joey encountered 3 of his ex "girlfriends" The funny part? He did not leave my side! He said "Mom I not hanging out with none of them, I don't want any drama for when I go to school on Monday" LOL

You do have a busy Mon. Glad the sticker chart is working out for Eli. Aiden really liked that reward system when he was little as well.
Oh the joy of teenage drama. Glad my kids are not old enough for that yet. Scary!
Have a great busy week.

The sticker chart sounds like a great idea. I'm going to have to remember that.

life with kids is busy some weeks isn't it?
The love life saga is something! I hope he finds a sweet girl soon!;)
Glad the sticker sheet is working, Drama boys are darling though;) I am with Gwen, stickers don't work here either, so I am super glad they work for you. Gum works a little as bad as I hate to promise it sometimes. Now with Jacob, playing my pc and going to pbs or nick jr is a good one at times... God gave me some amazing stinkers out of the same batch that Gwen's were in;)
I am so sorry about the news on your aunt. I pray her last days will not be painful and she is able to leave in peace.
Hope your week is a good one.
Love
C

Too funny! Following the love life of a teenager - that is definitely gonna keep you on your toes!
And I love that the stickers are doin' the trick for Eli - doesn't it feel great when you find a method that works like a charm!?
Good job, Eli! And good job, Momma!
