Good morning Nancy..

We have a big case of the snottles around here. My oldest is just getting over a cold, and the two younger ones and I are just starting it.
YUCK!!!

Kim said...

We are all really well...
Getting ready to go to work...
No Isabella is not here yet...That is my little girl's name that is still in someone's thoughts in China

redmaryjanes said...

Hi there! Welcome from Illinois!!

redmaryjanes said...

Knock on wood. But we all have been healthy so far.
Eli had the snots last week, but he's past it now.
Everyone around me at work has gotten really sick this year.

Kim said...

Tonight is my Dad's surprise birthday party. He thinks we are all taking him out to dinner tonight. He called my sister yesterday to see if she had made reservation since there will be at least 13 of us. She told him she has it taken care of.
She then called my grandma to let her know she is going to have to go to confession after all the lying she has done to her father.

Kim said...

Kimberley~ Guess What????
I have my interview on Wed.
YEAH...
I hope things go well.. I am just scared due to the fact that I only have experiance and not a degree...
But hopefully since they called me in for an interview ... that is a PLUS

redmaryjanes said...

I had a great time with the bow swap too. The ones I have received are beautiful. That was a great idea Nancy!

redmaryjanes said...

Well, Happy Birthday to your Dad. I hope you guys have a great time tonight.

redmaryjanes said...

When will you hear about the job Kim? Will you have to work Sat's with that one?

Kim said...

I am not that sure what the hours are... but I would assume that it is weekends off..
I won't know to much until wed. night

Kim said...

But I know that if I get the job..
I will have to go shopping...
We wear jeans and shirts to work...
and now I will have to have dress clothes..
oh well. it will be worth it..
YEAH

Nancy said...

Good Luck Kim.

Nancy said...

Kim - you received lots of donations this week. Do you think Amanda is looking at your posts and seeing what is coming?

redmaryjanes said...

Kim,
I went over to your blog and those bows are VERY cute.

So is Delilah!

Nancy said...

I am going to go now. The boys are up, and going to want breakfast. Since we aren't at home, they don't fend for themselves so much.

redmaryjanes said...

I don't know if Amanda is following closely or not. I have been sending her a weekly update and she responds to me a couple of days later. She had 3 babies last month who needed emergency surgeries, so I am sure she is busy with those 3, not to mention the other little ones.
I'm going to send her an update today, it's incredible. 41 families have signed up. Our bedroom is filling with donations. We have 55 sleepers, 23 girls outfits, 19 boys outfits, 16 pairs of shoes, 6 coats, pair of boots, 10 onesies, 27 shirts, 14 packs of socks, 10 bags of Craisins, 6 boxes of oatmeal, 4 pairs of booties, 2 sweaters and more bibs than I have been able to keep up with.
And most of the donations are not in. I don't think Amanda knew how successful this would be. I certainly didn't. It is just really FANTASTIC!!

redmaryjanes said...

Ok Nancy, Have a lot of fun tonight!!

Kim said...

Thanks... I can't wait for the rest of them to come in...
I like these little swaps.. they are fun...
And speaking of all the donations...
WOW..
that is all I can say..
I am still waiting on an email.. she was out of town this last week.. so they said she should respond this week..
I hope they donate some..
I still have to go shopping..
Have you put together a new sheet.. of things that she has not recieved.. for people who have not bought.. or it doesn't really matter???
My husband is like..oh we have to go get some oatmeal.. he loves it..he buys 5 or 6 boxes a week..the boys and him are crazy about it..

Kim said...

on the bows I ordered.. they are adorable... I will have to order Isabella one some day...
WIth IZZY, OR BELLA or ISABELLA..
they are adorable..
And you get points..

Unknown said...

Good morning friends. MIchaels home sick so we may see him in a little bit...Holy cow, I didnt know you started before 8..Going to catch up

Kim said...

WOW Kim.. that is wonderful...

Kim said...

I am sending my bows out in the mail today.. at lunch.. so I can't wait until they get them...

Kim said...

Hi Amy

Unknown said...

RMJ, how long are you collecting for?

Unknown said...

Good morning Kim and everyone else!

redmaryjanes said...

I will see if Amanda can get me an expanded list of what she needs. I know that there are at least 15 children there right now, so when you think about sleepers. They go through 105 a week and that's if no one spits up. So, the amount of clothing they need to keep those children dressed is pretty significant. I'm thinking that we may just be able to clothe them for a year. Not even half of the donations are in. So, this is going to be very successful for Starfish babies.

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Amy!!

Any good baby names?

redmaryjanes said...

I am collecting through the end of the month. And gently used clothing is fine too.

Unknown said...

the bow swap sounds fun! I have loved the pics you guys have posted

Unknown said...

we had another Princess and a teenage whose name was MyLove

redmaryjanes said...

Those are good ones. I have never heard of MyLove before.

Unknown said...

apparently she was named after her mom, I didnt ask

Unknown said...

Hoping Michael will pop in soon

redmaryjanes said...

I haven't posted any of my bows yet, I'm going to do them all together.

redmaryjanes said...

Is Michael going to join the chat? Be our first male attendee?

Unknown said...

Kim said...

Well I am off to work...
So glad I got to chat with you all..
And don't forget to watch Verna.. she will be getting Noah in a couple days...
They made it..
Hugs to you all..
Have a Great Day..

redmaryjanes said...

I would love to have him on the chat! He is always welcome.

Unknown said...

Yeah for Verna!! What a beautiful boy! Is a SN child?

redmaryjanes said...

Have a great day at work Kim! I will be watching Verna. I hope that they have a wonderful experience.

redmaryjanes said...

Noah is SN. He is missing part of some of the fingers on one of his hands.

Unknown said...

We have friends from our FF group in China picking up Micah!

http://ladmans.blogspot.com/

redmaryjanes said...

You know, it seems like nothing is moving forward with Chinese adoption, but we always know someone who is going over the get their baby. Is Micah SN?

Truly Blessed said...

Good Morning Kimberley, Nancy, and Kim!

I'm going to quickly see what y'all are talking about.

The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day and I''m happy to be here with you!

Unknown said...

we are happy you are here as well

redmaryjanes said...

It's great to see you Kelly! Good Morning! It's cold, but the sun in shining. : )

Unknown said...

Anyone following www.ragamuffinsoul.com

Compassion International sent 15 bloggers to Uganda to blog their experience and "get real" with the people there. Wow, are they changed.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that

Truly Blessed said...

Okay, I'm all caught up...

Good morning Amy (and yes, please have Michael visit -- it'd be fun to see if he could keep up with us!)

I wish Nancy was still on, but understand she had to go. I can't believe they're going to pull of such a huge surprise party -- no one in my family could have kep that secret that long!

I signed up for the bow swap (I said I'd swap two bows), but I've already gotten 3 bows (in two shipments) from the Same Person!! I don't know who she is, and there is no email address for her on the packing slip, so I have to go through Nancy to find out which bow/s I need to send back to this gal so that she can send them to the actual recipient.

I'll just shoot Nancy another email. But, both of the bows I sent off got to their intended recipients, so I'm happy about that. Whew!

redmaryjanes said...

I haven't heard of that Amy. I'll have to check it out. I am certain that you would be changed by that kind of an experience.

Unknown said...

ok guys, i hear michael coughing upstairs which means he may be watching us!

Hi Michael!

redmaryjanes said...

I think that all of my bows go to their intended people. I had people I had never heard of before except for one.

redmaryjanes said...

Jump in Michael!

Truly Blessed said...

Hey, here's a surprise...

A cyber-friend of mine got THREE DAYS notice to get on an airplane to go to Vietnam for her daughter!

Three days...that would cause my poor DH to have a massive heart attack. When we got our referral, we had to wait NINE WEEKS from referral to travel (it just about killed me, but DH was glad to have adequate time to get everything done at work so he could be gone for two plus weeks.

He'd have fainted if I told him we had to leave three days later!

Anyway, they're also LID mid March 06 for their daughter from China, so they'll likely have two babies this year (or this year and next).

Truly Blessed said...

Hey Michael, jump on in. We're a friendly bunch, you'll see...

redmaryjanes said...

I am happy for friend Kelly, I am hearing that the wait for Vietnam now is similar to the wait for for China. 2 babes in one year is a wonderful miracle!

Unknown said...

I would love that kind of surprise!!!!

Truly Blessed said...

Yes, I've heard that Vietnam is a longer program now, too. We actually looked into it before we found Ella on a WC list.

Unknown said...

Im amazed how many people/bloggers I know that are in China right now...Wow!

Truly Blessed said...

Hey, have you all heard Steven Curtis Chatman's song Cinderella? It's wonderful.

redmaryjanes said...

I only know Verna. How many do you know Amy?

redmaryjanes said...

I have heard about it, but I haven't heard it on the radio yet.

Unknown said...

Cinderella is a lovely song. We are seeing SCC on Sunday night.

The Ladmans (link above) and 5 or 6 families from bloglines are there! I have to clean up my bloglines.. I have 444 blogs listed

Unknown said...

you can find it on youtube

Unknown said...

Where did everyone go? Im sitting here with Lucy the basset hound watching Dirty Dancing

Valtool said...

Someone I know REALLY likes Steven Curtis Chapman.

redmaryjanes said...

That is so cool Amy! I have heard that he talks about adoption quite a bit at his concerts.

Unknown said...

HI my Michael...Yeah for Michael !! Lets Cheer for michael!!
hes taking me to see SCC!

redmaryjanes said...

So, is there anywhere for a family to go where the wait isn't so terribly long? Ethiopia?

Unknown said...

Everyone this is MIchael

MIchael, this is everyone

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Mr. Michael,
You are our first official male chatter...well, almost. Mr. Brian leaves a note every once in a while. But he never stays to talk.

Kelley said...

Good morning Kimberley (and everyone)! I haven't tried to "catch up" yet, so forgive me for changing the subject.

Kimberley, I got the secret buddy rules and themes list, but I can't open it. Could you see if you have the option to save it as a .RTF? Then I could open it...otherwise I'll have to see if Tom can mess with it and get it to open for me.

Unknown said...

HI there kelley

Kelley said...

Update...Tom tried to figure it out. He says that you probably loaded the temporary file instead of the .doc file.

All of this is WAY beyond me...all I know is that the file wouldn't open. :)

Now I'm going to catch up with the conversation that you were having before I interrupted. :)

Unknown said...

MIchael is feeling kind of puny today so he is just going to chill out day..I have to work tonight

Unknown said...

anyone here in the Memphis area>

redmaryjanes said...

Kelley,
I'll cut and paste it and get it to you today. There was someone else in the group who couldn't open it either.

Good Morning to you!

Hi Mr. Brian, I have heard about you before

redmaryjanes said...

Tyler has a 4 hour long tennis tournament tonight, so that's what I'll be doing.

Valtool said...

If any of you like free form dance, you need to see the pictures today at www.valtool.blogspot.com as Lucy the Bassett Hound and Pixel the kitten perform in the back yard.

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Mr. Brian! I was just talking about you dropping in and leaving little notes!

redmaryjanes said...

Hi there Lea!
You are welcome. I had to re-send it to Kelley today because it wouldn't open for her either.

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Margaret,
How are you? Any good weekend plans?

Unknown said...

Its so nice to some regular people in here and some new ones.

You guys have heard me talk about My Michael for several weeks.

Anyone gotta question for him?

OH MY #6 said...

I know I am late here but I just looked at that bow web site. I love the idea of personalized bows! How cute

redmaryjanes said...

Michael,
I went over to your blog and it does look like they are dancing!

Kelley said...

Wow--so many threads of conversation again. It's hard to keep up!

Chloe's one of the sickies these days...we went to the doctor yesterday to find that she has a double ear infection. Fun!

I'm so excited about all of the Starfish donations! It's awesome to see the pictures of what everyone has sent!

Michael, I've been enjoying the 80's videos this week!

Unknown said...

MIchael dedicated a song to me this week...Ice Ice baby

redmaryjanes said...

E-Snips won't autoplay on my blog anymore.

Is it working for anyone else?

Truly Blessed said...

Hey, good morning to Kelley, Lea, Margaret, Michael AND Mr. Brian.

I'm thinking Mr. Brian didn't send ME any chocolates or flowers for V Day {{{{pout}}}}.

Michael, I love your 80's music site. It rocks!

Unknown said...

oh that video sounds funny!

Margaret M said...

Weekend plans? Cut and color for me this morning and it is badly needed. Wes is working on painting Graeme's room....blue for our first son!

OH MY #6 said...

That is too funny about Mr. Brian.

lea

Truly Blessed said...

Speaking of Sen, do you know why she disabled or deleted her blog?

Unknown said...

Margart I am so excited for you

Margaret M said...

there is a large group from CCAI in China right now adopting their little ones. I will add the links to my blog later today if you want to stop by and check them out.

Truly Blessed said...

To whomever is watching "Dirty Dancing", I'm jealous (love that movie!). We're watching "Wiggle Time"!

Margaret M said...

one family is adopting their daughter from Graeme's orphanage and they are hoping to visit and will try to get updated pics for us. In the pics we have, he is 18 months old and is now 2 years, 4 months. I am dying to see what he looks like NOW!

Valtool said...

So for the adoption tie-in, I should mention that the pool I am relaxing in (my picture)is a very special pool because it moves from place to place.

It does so because it's on top of the Disney Magic, which for red thread purposes is the very ship we were sailing on when we met Rich and Denise Hall and their daughters Reese and Marissa, who are all featured in the National Geographic China's Lost Girls DVD.

Unknown said...

There is a big group, SN and NSN!!!!

Kelley said...

Kelly, I'm glad you asked about Sen's blog. There's a little hole in blogland without her blog there. I've been wondering what happened.

Truly Blessed said...

There are also at least three families who are adopting babies from Ella's CWI -- I would love to hear from them how the CWI fared during the storms last month.

Margaret M said...

thanks Amy! Michael, I am a product of the 80s Big Hair and all so I love to peek in on your blog. I need to comment though!

Unknown said...

Im watching Dirty Dancing and 90210 and chatting..

Michaels upstairs chatting.

Hope he feels welcome

Kristy said...

Good morning ladies!!! I actually slept until 8!!!! I see that I am way behind. I'm gona catch up!!

Kristy

Unknown said...

Michael is very correct..That is a special pool which we may be visiting again in just a few months

Valtool said...

Yes, everyone who visits needs to comment, and I need requests for Long Distance Dedication Fridays.

Truly Blessed said...

Hey Michael, I know that special pool...and it is, indeed, special!

In fact, we're going to be USING that pool one week from TODAY! Woo Hoo! We're going on the Disney Cruise a week from today!

Unknown said...

HI there Kristy

redmaryjanes said...

From what I'm hearing, she isn't saying a lot.
Many people have been having issues with anonymous commenters leaving nasty comments.
I had a man who kept leaving porn links in comments on my blog.
I think that some comments left on her blog caused her to take it down, but I'm not 100% sure.

Margaret M said...

Kelley,

I tried to get on your blog this week and couldn't...did it change?

Valtool said...

1987 was a fantastic year in Atlanta for concerts. I started working, so I could afford to go. I remember that year seeing, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Billy Joel, Bryan Adams, Whitesnake, Great White, Boston, Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, Level 42, U2, The Cars, The Monkees, and probably a few more..

Unknown said...

I may have to leave as jealousy is consumine..Ugh! Hahahah!

I LOVE THE DISNEY CRUISE!!!!

The Johnson Family said...

Good mornign everyone wo it has been busy I am going to try and catch up!

Truly Blessed said...

I will never understand people, that's for sure!

Why do some people feel the need to turn nice things ugly? Why not just leave those nice things alone and let other people enjoy them?

It's that "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" philosophy I grew up hearing (and still hear in my head! -- Thanks MOM!)

Valtool said...

A cruise NEXT WEEK? You mean you don't want to spend all of February in MI?

Unknown said...

Good morning Johnson family!!!!

Yes, My hubby has gotten me to love the 80s again since we have been together

Margaret M said...

that is wild about the porn link on the blog....How sad!

I want to go on the cruise. We making Graeme's room a Disney room so that is as close to Disney as we will get for a while.

If we go through Hong Kong to get Graeme, we are going to try to go a day or two early and go to Disney there. That would be Wes and Lily's first ever Disney experience

Truly Blessed said...

Wow, Michael, those are some impressive concerts.

In the 80s I saw Harry Chapin (really, a fun concert!), Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant and a few other Christian artists. Can't remember any others, but I'm sure there were some..

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Kristy! How are you?

Unknown said...

oh Margaret, thats cool

I hope LynnMarie likes Disney so we can change her room when she gets home

Valtool said...

Amy and I were last at WDW in Orlando about 13 months ago, on our birthday, yes OUR birthday as we share the same day. We cheesed it up stopping and getting pictures with all the costumed characters we encountered.

Kristy said...

Sorry, not just ladies, good morning Mr. Brian , and hello Mr. rockin 80's!!! How are all of you?

What is Verna's blog address? I would love to follow her journey.

Kelley said...

Yikes! I missed some comments. Good morning, Margaret! My blog is still there...I just went "invitation only." I thought I sent you one, but I must have missed you. I'm sorry--I didn't mean to miss you! My email is kapow1969@yahoo.com. Send me an email, and I'll be happy to send you an invitation!

Truly Blessed said...

Yes, we're going next week (flying down to Orlando on Friday). This will be our 4th Disney Cruise -- we love them.

This one, though, we're meeting up with family and Katie will meet her two little 2nd cousins (my niece & nephews sons -- yes, I'm a Great Aunt! An Aunt and Uncle will also be on the cruise, and they're anxious to see Katie and the boys.

Unknown said...

MIchael is correct, that was fun!

I cant wait to see Noah in Vernas arms..Shes done so much for us1!!!

OH MY #6 said...

e-snips is not working for me either Kimberley.

I am off to get my day going. Have a wonderful, wonderful day everyone.

I think we should have Blogger Summit someday in the good weather. What do you think?

Lea

Margaret M said...

I am somewhat of a Disney fanatic and have collected Disney memorablia. It is all in the basement. With Wes back in school, we are on a budget for the first time in years but I want his room to be really special. So Disney it is....there are over 300 stuffed characters with many many Mickey's. I am not sure if all will go in the room.

Valtool said...

We were surprised yesterday as we went to see the new National Treasure movie and they had a new Goofy short cartoon, on buying and hooking up a home theater system, very funny.

redmaryjanes said...

Hi there Crystal, how are you guys?

Kristy said...

We are all just fine here today, other than the usual Texas crap in the air, like mold and cedar that just drives all of our sinuses nuts!!!! Kim did you receive a big box from me yet? If not it is on its way, and I forgot to put some postage money in there so I will mail that next week.

Unknown said...

a blogging get together would be sooo much fun

Kelley said...

I would love to go on a Disney cruise. We're planning to go to WDW this summer--even though I think Chloe is on the young side for the trip. Maybe a cruise could be something we do before Holly comes home. There's years to plan it, then! Are they super-expensive?

redmaryjanes said...

Verna's Blog is www.nevertoomany.blogspot.com
It's called The Bigs and The Littles right now, or something close to that.
She's on my sidebar as Families Grow Watch Ours.

The Johnson Family said...

We are dying to take our kids to disney as well, Shane and I lived in san diego so we have been to disneyland before. We were trying to go this year but instead we are now trying to get Savannah-Hope home!!

Kristy said...

Margaret I love Disney too!!! Our daughter went to Nationals twice to Disney in Florida and let me tell you 'US" adults were more like the kids than the real kids were. I could live on Main Street!!!

Hi Amy , how are you, how was your week?

Truly Blessed said...

We're trying something new with Katie. I enrolled her in a Tumble Tots class (45 mins). She HATED the first class -- but she was the only kiddo there. The last 15 minutes she got into it, and then she didn't want to leave.

Katie's built like Mary Lou Retton. The girl is solid!

Margaret M said...

Kelley,

I just sent you an e-mail. Can't wait to ccatch up!

redmaryjanes said...

Have a great day Lea!

I think there will eventually be some type of bloggerpalooza. We just have to figure out where and when.

Unknown said...

they are expensive. WE typically use dreams unlimited. They make the trip special by leaving things in the room, making easy payment plans and such

OH MY #6 said...

Yes, a BLOGGER get together would be absolutely fantastic.

redmaryjanes said...

I could really use a Disney Cruise right now. I am so tired of the cold. And when I'm at Disney, I'm 12 again. I get my face painted and wear my Tinkerbell crown..I'm all over it.

Kristy said...

Thank you Kimberly, I love watching families while they are in China, it is very inspiring.

Truly Blessed said...

Speaking of "Bigs and Littles" Verna also has a new Yahoo group for adopters with older kids at home (or grown and gone) and younger adopted kiddos.

Valtool said...

The Disney Cruises are more expensive than most, but you definitely get what you pay for. Try to find someone living in FL to go with you and split the party amongst rooms with a FL resident in each one, They get discounts at certain times of the year.

Margaret M said...

Lily's built like Mary Lou too. We drive an hour and 15 minutes one way for her to go to gymnastics. We live in the boonies for now:)

Kelley said...

Thanks for the tip, Amy. BTW, I was wishing I had your phone number last night when I accidentally gave Chloe too much acetominiphan. (And I can't spell it, either.) I was panicked, but it worked out OK...

Ashley said...

Good morning ladies!

Unknown said...

Lots of Chinese children on the cruise it seems. We have no kids (nieces and nephews) and Michael and I had a blast

Kristy said...

It would be so much fun for all of us to meet in the middle somewhere, I think about that all the time. but it is hard to while you are saving for your China trip as well. But being able to meet all of you in person would really be a highlight of my life.

The Johnson Family said...

I was trying to go back and see all the concerts everyone was referring to man there are some good ones!! I love 80's but I know the music from having older siblings I was way to young for concerts back then I got to go to my first concert in 1991!!

Unknown said...

email me, Ill give out my number and cell and work number if you need it

Valtool said...

Amy and I live in Atlanta, but we'll be in Memphis in 2 weeks and expect to meet some red threaders there.

Margaret M said...

all this talk of Disney cruises really makes me want to book a trip. Can't wait to see the pics of Katie's Antics on this trip!

redmaryjanes said...

Kristy,
I don't have a big box yet, but I got your very special little package yesterday. Thank you! I try to post the packages the same day that they come in so that people know that their items reached us safely.
I also try to leave a comment on your blog so that you know it's here.

Kelley said...

I feel the same way as Kristy about a blogger get-together. Of course, I would have to bring Chloe. (I think I would not be a happy girl without her.) I'm not sure that Tom would "get it," he think's I'm nuts. But it would be great to meet everybody.

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Ashley! How are you? How is school going?

Truly Blessed said...

The reason we love Disney cruise is the same reason we love Disney World. Everything is as close to perfect as you can get -- everything is clean, the entertainment is top notch and family friendly -- it's great for the kids because kids are supposed to be there (no one expects the kids to be "seen and not heard"). There's something to do for everyone and it's such a relaxing way to vacation.

But yes, it is expensive. Booking another cruise while you're on the cruise saves some money and earns you cash to spend on board during the next cruise.

The Johnson Family said...

disney cruise sounds wondeful do you actually get to go to disnetworld with the cruise or is it just disney themed?

Unknown said...

oooh and Michael is taking me to sese jesus Christ superstar after our Memphis trip...

Anyone else seen Wickekd?

Margaret M said...

Bloggerpalooza or Bloggercruise...that would be so much FUN!

Good morning ladies!! I hope the weather is treating you all nicely. We are getting around and possibly heading to Barnes and Noble to meet Clifford. We will see...last time we went to meet Curious George Annslee was poked in the eye by the maddening crowd : (

I am LOVING seeing all the starfish goodies come in. Kimberley, can you send me the html for that graphic and chat again..I think I worked out the "bugs" and it will work now : )

Look at you, Amy! You are so sweet! :) Of course, I'm available with kindergarten types of knowledge...ha, ha, ha! I can answer questions about reading development, things to do with your toddler and preschooler, and all of that. But big scary medical issues are beyond me. I should take some first aid classes.

Hey...why don't we all get-together on the Disney Cruise in 2009 or 2010 -- once all of the babies from this group are home. Wouldn't that be a blast?

Kimberly, I need your address to send out our package. I am going through things and have many clothes from Lily gently used and some with tags still on. I will try to get the package out by next weekend. I am out of town for a conference for most of this week.

Good morning Lala, I love Clifford!!

And Kelley I understand that not "getting it" thing. Frank is so glad that I have all of you for support and he even actually likes hearing all of your stories, but at the same time he calls himself a Computer Widow!!! And Astrud also has her little remarks like , Mom are you on the computer again!!!! But I tell them that we all have our ways of dealing with the wait and this is it for me and plus I really hope that we are all friends for a lifetime.

Regarding a bloggerpalooza. If everyone could agree on one place to meet and would make their own hotel reservations, it could work out. I would imagine we could get some blocks of rooms at discounts depending on how many people sign up to go.
It would be good to coordinate at least one group dinner so everyone could meet, maybe a breakfast too.
Steffie and I have talked about it.

Good luck with your hair Margaret. I had to tame my roots last weekend : )

I do think that blogging and making bloggy buddies is my way of coping. During my wait for Chloe, I was addicted to lots of blogs. I didn't ever comment or start my own, though. It's a shame, because I missed out on being "in the same place" with lots of people, and getting to meet them. Then after I was home, I started blogging last summer as a way to record what was going on. It's really habit forming!

Hi Patricia!
I was thrilled to get a box from Broadway...how cool is that? And that little Chinese girl outfit is so cute!
Good Morning and welcome to the chat!
