Step Up and Introduce Yourself...

You don't have to have a blog to leave a comment. You don't have to be adopting from China or another country or this country to have something valuable to say. You don't have to be a mother or a father. You can voice an opinion, offer a kind word or participate in any of the activities that happen here.
There are hundreds of people who read this blog every day and I'd love to know who you are and why you read it. What keeps you coming back?
Grandma Linda is a frequent visitor here. I love her comments and she has no blog. We find ways to communicate with each other.
Also, Diane mother of 5 left a beautiful comment that made my eyes all watery at work the other day.
This blog is open to and welcomes anonymous comments, so step up today and introduce yourself. You know a lot about me already...

I just check a bunch of adoption related blogs each day to see how each family is coming along in their journey. I desperately want to adopt but my husband only wants to have bio children. I have 4 bio children but I still feel a deep longing to adopt a child. I don't know why my longing is so deep and so intense. I love to see families come together through the miracle of adoption. I hope and pray for you that your wait is short and your child is being cared for in a loving environment. All the best!

Hi Kimberley,

Me again!!!! I am Diane, I do not have a blog, but, do have a huge passion for adoption...more so, for the orphan.

If you'd have asked me anything about adoption prior to 1996, while I was busy raising my Son and Daughter I'd have told you very little....but, as you awesome families are learning once the seed is planted there is very little you will be able to do to deny the feeling of true love given to us so freely through the gift of adoption....

I found your blog through a friend of yours, I have disclosed to her that I followed her amazing journey to her sweet daughter Sophia:) which they shared on the Story of You...

I find prayer and God's love to be immensely powerful and the love shared in the adoption community is huge!!!

As stated before, I will be the one now yelling from the sidelines for you all to continue to walk this very uncertain, lengthy, yet, oh so dream like journey until you finally yell out....REFERRAL....TA!!!

You, Kimberley seem to embody the Spirit of adoption....persevere, commitment...honesty.

Why do I read the blogs...well, because as one who has now been to China three times and has truly seen the Fields of the Fatherless....how could I not lift you all up? How can I walk from what my daughters are forever tied to? Your blog as well as the many other beautiful waiting family blogs and the family blogs of those who have also been on this journey are a glimpse and mirror of what all I have seen.

Thank you so much for allowing me to see all these sweethearts be joined with their families, thank you for sharing your love for the daughter or son you have yet to hold...by sharing that love so honestly now, it is a constant reminder to me that the orphans...the millions who wait world wide are loved, are prayed for and are remembered....and if it had not been for God's Love that could just have as easily been my daughters who would still be waiting...

SO DON'T GIVE UP!!!! YOUR CHILDREN ARE WAITING FOR YOU ALL!!!!

HUGS TO ALL,
Diane...

Hi Kimberley:)

Sorry about the lengthy post!!!

I did want to shout out that in 2006 we did welcome home our daughter, Jadyn. She came to our family at the age of four...a new experience for our family, as we broke birth order in bringing her into our family.

For anyone who might enjoy to do so, in 2006 we did set up a blog to capture our trip to China...

Feel free to take a peek at the beautiful daughters I have....and hopefully they will be a reminder to all who wait of the daughters waiting for you!!!

Hugs to all,
Diane

I'm not sure I've ever left a comment before. I found your blog through other China Adoption Blogs. I'm not adopting, but had a friend that did adopt from China and clicked on different blogs linked through her site and found many others. I enjoy reading your blog. You do so many kind things for others. The world needs more people like you in it. You can learn more about me at my blog. :) Enjoy your day!

Not a lurker. In fact, there are few blogs I haven't commented on. Kim, I love your approach, your grit, your ability to draw people to you without really trying. You amaze me with how kind and generous you are; how you are always helping someone, making so many smile and always try to bring other's plights to the attention of the masses. You take the time to keep everyone updated and focused on their goals.
And I love how you are continually changing the look of your blog. It is always fresh and inviting.:=)
