Good Morning Everyone and welcome to the Saturday Morning Chat Group! Today I'll be wrapping the presents that have been piling up in my bedroom and hopefully we can get them shipped out today. I'd also like to get the last of our Christmas shopping done. What are your weekend plans?

Just popping in quickly to say hi! Life has been so busy here, I haven't been able to join the Saturday Chats in a while! Hope you have fun getting all your shopping and wrapping done.
Today I will be mostly getting the house back to "normal" - we had a Christmas Party here last night for the students we work with about 25 students were able to come, it was great fun! :)
Wow, that's a big party. I'm glad that it went well.
I hope you and Derek are having a wonderful Holiday Season.

I am wrapping gifts all day too, as many need to be at the post office Monday morning!
Coffee is good and I woke up to 60 degree clear weather. Wonder how those "Northern" states are faring?

Good Morning.. Didn't know if I would catch you..
I am off to WONDERFUL work.. This is my last week of work.. Then I am off from the 21 thru the 4...
we are finishing our Christmas shopping later when I get off work and then maybe tomorrow..
KyLee is going to open her Christmas presents and Birthday presents before she leaves..
We are now March 2006 (they can't even give us an exact date, they just know it is in the March pile)....hope you have a great Christmas too, did you get my card? Thank you so much for yours.

I did get your card and thank you. I can't believe they didn't give you an exact date. You will have a baby this year though if you are in the March 06 pile. I'm pretty sure of it, unless something drastic happens.

I did get it and the picture is great, and I love how you signed Isabella even though she hasn't come yet. I didn't even think of doing that. Then you put the ornament on there to symbolize her.
Had to put something besides the letter... family members don't understand the LONG wait.. so of course I explained in the letter but they still ask....
Well I have to go to work.. When are you sending out the lists from the Secret Buddy...??
If I don't go I am going to make myself late.. because I want to stay here....LOL.

morning...finally able to stop by on a Saturday morning chat...nail appt today, and gotta "start" the Christmas shopping, and get the Christmas grocery shopping done too
haven't received the blankets yet, but Ginnie's not sending out the package til sometime next week...she is waiting for your package to arrive...
we raised over $2K dollars, quite the success, and got lots of blankets and socks..

We closed on the new house yesterday. I bleached EVERYTHING yesterday. Today I need to go back and Lysol everything.

Little sleep last night will keep this short. Mia was up AGAIN with ear pain. A quick trip to the doctor today -I am sure will reveal another ear infection...can't wait for tubes.
I am sure she has pink eye too. I have to do everything this weekend for Christmas. Cards...shop...wrap...I love it !!

Working tonight and then church in the morning followed by lunch at Japanese steak house with our small group and then I will wrap gifts and mail them out Monday
I believe Monday is the last day, they tell me 3 to 6 business days..we'll see

Eli had constant ear infections before his tubes, it was awful. Things have been much better since they were put in last Spring.
I hope your girl if feeling better soon. Pink eye is an easy fix if you have the drops.
not sure but I did learn the hard way that regular UPS gets there faster than FedEX

Adele, it is in the 80's here in Fla, shorts weather and definitely not Christmas weather...even for Fla....makes it hard to get into the spirit of things (heck i haven't even shopped for the family, only got my SP's and Secret Santas and work people done...but hey i've still got 9 days, plenty of time to shop..hehe

We are having a sunny day here today but it is very windy and very cold. Larry and I are going to put up a few lights outside if our fingers don’t freeze off first! I also have some shopping to finish up so I am heading off to the looney bin shortly, lol!

The boys and I are just here for the weekend. This week is the boys last week of school. The packers and movers are also coming Wed and Thurs. Hopefully I will be able to travel down Thursday night, since they want to unload Friday.
The animals were brought this weekend so they have some time to adjust without 'the wild boys.'

Kim, the orphanage is the one Ginnie's daughter came from...she says it is in pretty good shape, but needs quite a few things...so we are happy to help, especially since it is an orphanage of one of the sweeties we know and love (Ali is such a doll, and I love her so very much, she's got us all wrapped around her finger..hehe)...

Mornin' everyone! I haven't had much time to spend in blogsville lately, so everyone has probably forgotten me! It's Carolyn in Canada, mom to "DX"- who just had his cleft palate repaired almost 3 weeks ago. We see his surgeon on Monday and hope he tells us that we can give up on the soft foods and remove DX's arm restraints!
Amy, what an awesome opportunity to work with LWB. I absolutely adore what that group is doing for children in China. You'll have to keep us posted!

I haven't forgotten you at all. I'm so glad to hear that your son is doing well. There are a lot children that I know of who have had their cleft palat surgeries this past month. I hate seeing them in those arm restraints :(, but you have to do it. I just laugh when I read your blog, it sounds like my house with a very active toddler boy.
If you guys are recording the many Christmas movies this year try to find Finding JOhn Christmas..good movie

we are finishing our wrapping and not doing much of anything...shocked I know. Our 77 degree day is a distant memory and now it is cold and rainy...YUCK If it is going to be cold I wish it would be cold enough to snow already! We head to Charlotte for Mark's fam on Thurs and back home on Sat...so a whirlwind few days with all of them!

Then, I'm getting on the treadmill with my new tennis shoes I bought yesterday. Then, Spicy Girl and I are going to the grocery store. I'll finish the day with cleaning out my closet!!

Yes, Gwen is my Sis in law. If you go to my blog look at the blond kid with Maggie and Emily on the swing. Thats my third daughter and she looks exactly like Gwen.
Potty trained! Yes, its so nice to no longer have to buy diapers!
I'm about to grab another cup of coffee. Eli will go down for his nap soon, and then I have to wrap presents like a mad woman for our family out of state so I can get them in the mail on time to hopefully get there by Christmas.
