I have a friend who is facing that struggle. Her mom passed away from BC 3 years ago and she was diagnosed the week after Christmas last year. Thanks for posting, early detection is so very important.

so sad, my grandmother also was a breast cancer survivor, losing first one, then the other, and then sadly losing the battle not to cancer, but to alzheimer's disease...early detection...I am only 34 but next year since breast cancer is so rampant in our family and my breasts are so very large, I'll be experiencing my first mammogram....self-exam, and get those mammograms!!

I held my aunt in my arms as she slipped away from this disease too. I'm sorry for your loss.
