I was hoping to be able to take this week off and celebrate the 4th of July all week, but I have to work today and tomorrow. Today begins the annual 4th of July tradition of me fitting an unbelievable number of people into my house. We have 6 in our family. Yesterday Katey brought two of her friends over who are staying for 3 days and tonight my sister-in-law Sonya and her four children are coming over to stay until Thursday. That gives me 12 people here tonight and tomorrow night along with a dog and a cat.
Lucky for me, we're having gorgeous weather. It should be sunny and in the 80's today. We took the kids boating and tubing yesterday and had smores over a fire on the brick patio. Looks like that's what we'll be doing today too when we get home from work.
