Today Was Tough..But There Was Some Good...

What do I do for a living? I am a Technical Sales Engineer for a telecommunications and data networking company. I sell larger internet pipes and networks that tie company locations together. Most days it's a really cool job. The past couple of days it's been a BIG challenge. I'm making it through though.
One great thing that happened today was that I was so frustrated when I came home that I ran. I actually put on my old running shoes and hit the road. I jogged my old path from years ago when I was an avid runner. It felt great. My butt was tingling....for me that means I lost some of my back-end. YEAH baby!!!
So, for now I am dedicating myself to getting back into the jog. My butt has been holding me back for too long. Thank you complete frustration for forcing me back onto the path!

I wish I had that kind of drive. When I'm frustrated, I like to sit in front of the tv with cookies and ice cream. Talk about the butt holding you back...

Sorry that you had a bad day. But it sounds like you turned it into something postitive by running. Ohhhh I have had that burning butt feeling.

That's it. I haven't run since my 15K two months ago, and I've put the 9 pounds I lost right back on. I"m going to run with you woman. I'm actually going to keep track of my miles week after week. A goal. Something positive! As usual, you post something I really need! Thanks for that.

You go girl, sorry about your bad day. I'm feeling a little guilty as I sit on my butt, tingling from the lack of movement.

I love how you always find the bright side!

Oh, I love a good run. Why don't I do it more often? I've been kind of slacking lately, wondering how long I can slack and still technically call myself a "runner".

Hopefully things will work themselves out for you at work.

You are such a positive person! It is wonderful.

I'm glad you're not letting this get you down. I'm happy the run felt so good. I would have been in pain. :)

Well running is a very postive way to cope with stress. I get on a streak of doing it, and then fall off the wagon. Then I use food and wine and hot shwers/baths to cope. Difently not as constructive as excercise. You inspire me to keep going to the gym. I haven't gone in a week. Must keep up the momentem.
