I Need To Find My Inner Balance...

I am starting to get that feeling that life may just be on the verge of overwhelming me. Work is crazy busy. We are having the biggest sales month since I have been there. We have no housekeeper right now which my husband thinks is just fine, but when I got home today after working until 5, dropping off the kids and rushing to a meeting at our church, only to come home at 10pm and find the house trashed...you're getting my picture here. Momma got a little upset.
I don't want to work all day and spend all night cleaning this house. I have four children I'd like to focus on. A new hire who has my position is coming in from Indy tomorrow for me to train for two days, did I mention my job is insane right now? And we're having him to dinner tomorrow night, did I mention my house needs a thorough cleaning? I won't even mention the rest of the weeks schedule. If I can just maneuver gracefully through the next two days, I'll be happy.
Wow, I feel so much better now after purging all that on you guys!

Oh I hate when life just comes at you that way, sort of all at once, and you feel so overwhelmed that sometimes you just find yourself unable to move (at least, that's what happens to me). I hope it comes together and the dinner is good and you don't stress too much about cleaning. Hang in there woman.

Oh man, you do have a full plate!
I hope everything works itself out. But, hire a new housekeeper if you can swing it -- might ease a lot of your stress.
If I lived closer, I would come clean your house for ya.

I am sorry to hear that you are feeling overwhelmed. I feel that way too sometimes. Especially with the house cleaning. If my house it out or order, I feel out of order. Hopefully things will calm down for you in the next couple of days. I'm with Nikki, I would come clean your house for you if I lived closer. :)

Thanks for always leaving such nice comments on my blog. I promise I will try to do some pictures of scrapbook pages soon. I just need to scrap some more.

Take care my dear,
Jonni

Why do darling husbands think it is better without the housekeepers, yet when push comes to shove we are the ones up all hours trying to get everything accomplished? (Same thing is happening at our house -our housekeeper moved out of state- but I don't have four kids. I feel for you!)

It will all get done, one step at a time. It is a lot to juggle, I'm sure.

Well that all realy stinks. As I've posted in the past I hate cleaning too.
Sine you and your husband do not know me personaly and do not live close I can say this.
Tell him if he is fine with you not having a house keeper to get up and help clean.LOLOLOLHe will nhave someone hired tomorrow!!!!!
Just kidding. Being that busy at work and trying to balance that and a family cannot be fun I am sure. I am all by myself and I get overwhelmed at times.
Hope things get better soon.

Purging is a very good thing. I hope that you can find the balance you seek. It is a rough go sometimes to try to find it, but I'm sure it will come.

Don't clean, bake cookies. Have you ever been to a home that smelled like cookies in the oven. And on the stove was a cookie sheet with cookies on it? The only thing your guest will see or remember are the cookies.

I have lots of those days, unfortunately. Lately, I feel like I'm being slowly killed by clutter. 4 kids is a lot to keep up with!

Hang in there.

Blame hormones when things go arye, speaking of which, a rye might just take the sting off. When in doubt, serve copious amounts of alcohol at dinner and no one will feel the dusty bunnies munching on their pant legs.
Just a thunk it.

Oh my! Vent away. Is there an emergency cleaning service/company near you? They are great at coming for 6 hrs or so and getting it all done. Failing that throw everything into wardrobes (that is my trick!)
I'll be thinking of you. You have soooo much on your plate!

Kim sometimes you take to much on yourself. It does, in fact, run in the family. Also does'nt help that we hate to ask for help and end up snapping because no one else is helping us. Take a breath, ask for help, and make lasagna.

I love you. Big hugs.

Purge--vent--purge---vent...I am a good listener. You are crazy busy. Does your mind run like crazy at night too? I just started a mantra when I wake up at 3:00 am in panic--because of all the things that I have to do. I just say on an inbreath "Our soul purpose... outbreath "is to Love" that seems to do it for me and I relax and think of all my blessings and fall asleep.
