- I am an everyday woman. I am married to my soulmate. I have three sons ages 16,13 & 4. Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.

I'm the LaoLao (and ebay addict) of sarahs-adventures.blogspot.com and find we are practically neighbors--whereas Sarah, to my eternal sorrow, lives in UT with her parents--I live in northern OH just west of Cleveland. I've read your comments on my daughter's blog but didn't click through til this am.
So now you're 2 months 1 week from your LID--congratulations. Everytime I think of Sarah and how her adoption caused such a sea change in my life--my eyes fill with tears. And this is from a person who had not really been supportive of this process til my daughter and son-in-law were actually IN CHINA. (To my eternal embarassment)
Here's hoping that the hearts of the CCAA are melted and more adoptions are expedited and you can hold your Sophia in your arms sooner.

Friday means my fav show is on tonight. Ok I have many fav shows but tonight is Most Haunted. A reality ghost hunters type thing. LOVE that show!
