One Month LID Anniversary!!!
Today is a very special day for our family. It is the first month anniversary of our LID (Log In Date). What this means to a family adopting from China is that they are one month closer to their child. The wait for a baby can last for up to two years, so families celebrate the date that China acknowledged their paperwork. Tonight we went out to eat at Yen Ching which is our favorite Chinese restaurant and the children each received a special Chinese gift!

Happy 1 month LID-versary!
Hi, you asked, Are you immunizing them for the trip? They already have the important shots because of all the past trips. We are also only traveling in Citys and drinking bottled water. I am excited about taking them ut we don't really have a choice.Germany will not allow us to readopt Sarah in Germany. The adoption must be Final in China. There for Juergen and I must both travel. We could find friends to care for Nicole, Thomas and Philip but not Jessica. Nicole has studied Chinese for two years so she could travel with us. If we have to take Jessica and Nicole...We thought we had just bring everyone! You do what you have to do...but I think it will be fun!
Way to go!!!!
It is very costly $$$ to travel, and most of your attention needs to go to the new child. I would probably take the older kids because they could appreciate the trip and be a help to you. Leave the little kids at home with daddy, or take them to stay with a grandparent or aunt or uncle. We don't have the choice so we just make it into a very expensive family vacation. For your older kids it could be the trip of a life time…but only if they are flexible and willing to serve. Your kids look pretty giving. I think they would love it!
Happy 1 month!!
