It didn't cross my mind that it was Mardi Gras down in New Orleans. Evidently Zachary and his Dad decided to go for a day thinking that things would be tamer before dark. Well, let's just say that Zach has now had his first exposure to the female anatomy. I could tell that he was completely embarrassed to tell me. He couldn't believe that women would flash themselves to get beads.
This isn't exactly what I was expecting on a mission trip. But, he said that they are helping a family move into their new home. Hopefully that balances out the booby show??????

ROFL over here. I know as a Mom you aren't very happy, but reading the post was! ;)
I have to second Steffie--probably horrifying for your son right now, but funny when you put it in print.
I can just imagine my poor ex-husband who is 5'10" trying to cover the eyes of his 6'2" son. And Zachary must have been 50 shades of red. Women are still such a mystery to him. He had his first crush this year and couldn't speak a word to the girl. It must have been a site. Wish I had a picture.
Ha ha ha, can't help but laugh at that one! Thanks for stopping by my bloggy!
all will be alright as long as YOU don't come with beads!!!!
he he Opps! Poor guy.
Had to laugh... too funny... poor guy!

Yep, I had to laugh too!
We have a group called Master's Commission in our church. They go to Mardi Gras every year for a mission's trip. No telling what they see.
Ahaha! I bet he was blushing!
