Sophia & Eli's Room

Many of you have been asking me about Sophia's room. Sophia and Eli will be sharing a room for right now. We have a 4 bedroom house and Zach and Tyler would never share, so that leaves the little ones sharing for a while. I think it will help them bond.
I originally wanted to paint the room yellow, but Tim adamantly said he would not have Eli in a yellow room, so we are doing a lighter sage green. I really love it.
The painting is about 80% done at this point. Hopefully we can get the rest done this weekend and get all of the kids' things into the room. Right now the hallway is packed and so is our room and Zach's room. I tell you, the little ones have a lot of stuff!

The green is a perfect color. Very warm.

Hope you get it done soon/ If I lived closer, I'd ask to help.

I love the color! I can't wait to see it finished. Is there a theme? Yes, it does help the newer ones to have someone in their room with them at night. I love the vaulted ceiling too!

Love,
Robin

Green is my favorite color and I think it works very well for both boys and girls. You are right about stuff. It seems the smaller the kid, the more the stuff and then they find tv! More stuff!

It's perfect!! Can't wait to see the finished room!
Just to let you know, we also sent a care package while we awaited our LOA and TA and Josiah came to us with the baby photo album!! His foster Mom had actually shown him the photos and he was familiar with them! Praying that Sophia will also become accustomed to your faces even before she meets you in person. The Lord will prepare her heart!
So excited for you!!

What an adorable room and I love the beams on the ceiling. So cute. I love the idea of the kids sharing a room and I am sure after Sophia had so mnay kids in the toom she was in, it will be comforting to her. We plan on having Sofia and Samantha share a room once we get her referral too. I hope you are having so much fun getting her room ready.

Hugs,
Jonni
