I'm not going to be in the chat this morning, but I wanted to say hi from the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse city!! Josie has been really enjoying the water and the slides. I've posted pictures on the blog.

Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll have my blog "public" again...I've been going through each post and changing all of the names so that I feel a little more anonymous. It's been a job! I'm excited, because then people will be able to follow the blog feed and it won't be so hard to get updates.
It is easierto follow the public blogs, but each family has to do what is best for them.
I'm back for a minute. I'd love to have a public blog, but my hubby doesn't want me to. Oh well...

I got the pink treasure box which contained three dresses (nice ones!), shoes, tiaras, jewelry & slippers at Costco just before Christmas. The Snow White dress came from Kmart, I believe, and Tinkerbell dress came from Meijer. Some of the other plastic shoes & accessories were purchased at Walgreens. Check out what Target has, they have a nice selection also.

We have baseball evaluations today for my youngest. Against my better judgement.
They should have done them last weekend when it was almost 80 degrees. Today it is half that.
Doing great- rainy and a wonderful day to be home! EK is doing playdough, Scott is taking a nap- had to speak at a men's breakfast, and the big girls will sleep until 11:30 or so.
I right click on words from friensd and then click on open in new window. Then all I need to do is hit refresh between comments.

My arm is just really cumbersome. It takes me a long time to get anything done.
I finally posted a pic of Arianna on our blog. Our agency has never told me I can't, so am playing dumb if they say anything.
Tim is gone doing some consulting work with a friend, so I'm trying to get some laundry moved around.

It's an ugly cloudy day here today. And it's my hubby's birthday. :(
Good grief, I can't imagine how hard it must be without your right arm! I just picked up my coffee and though, yikes, what if I had to do this left-handed.
The worat is that I type at work.
I meant worst. I can't really write either.
I'm hanging in there though. I'm hoping to have the cast off before we go to China.
I hope so too! Casts are such a pain. When I broke my wrist (long ago) the cast went all the way up close to my shoulder and I couldn't straighten my arm all the way out for months after I got it off.
Yes, I have splint on now and it goes up past the elbow so I can't twist my wrist.

I am in splint until they put the cast on this Thursday. I'm not in much pain, it's just really cumbersome.
Why couldn't they put the cast on when you were there?
Whoa, sorry, my computer had a little hiccup there and I had to restart.
I walked around with my arm bent (out of habit) for a couple of months after I got the cast off (it had been on about 6 weeks). I had to practice straightening it out every day and it took several weeks for me to get it all the way straight. Your arm is going to be a bit weak too, depending on how long they leave it on.
They said they wait to cast so the swelling can go down. The cast will be on for 4 to 6 weeks.
This splint is big and heavy though like a cast.
Yeah, I had to wait a few days for mine too. The first time (yeah, I'm clumsy), I had to be put to sleep for them to set it because I broke both bones and it was a bit of a mess.
Are you still getting a pink cast? ;) I totally would, LOL!
Yes, I think I should get the hot pink one. I'm a network engineer, so I'm sure it will go over well with my customers.

She is a lovely little girl. She has very large almond shaped eyes. She is SN asd/vsd baby but appears to be very healthy. She is in the 50th percentile in height and weight.

Wow, that's awesome! We know a lot of families of kiddos with Down syndrome who had ASD/VSD (among other heart defects) and they do great. Did she have surgery?
