We're Home :)

We arrived home late last night. Back to the land of snow and cold. The drive home was memorable, whenever my 3 kids are together in a car for 12 hours...it is madness :P. Oh...and add to it that we ate enchiladas the night before...Tyler was a constant source of gas!
It was nice to be able to relax a bit and sleep in my own bed last night. There must have been an amazing storm while we were away because our basketball hoop blew down and our dog pen was lifted up and blown 10 feet from where it originally stood.
Hospice is in place for my Grandmother in Kansas City and my Aunt is meeting with a full time caregiver on Saturday, so I am hoping that things will work ok for everyone. Thank you for all of your prayers.
I am back at work today and glad to have something different to focus on for a little while.

Kimberley I have and am still having trouble with my computer and I am soooo sorry that I have not been to your blog to see all that is happening in your life. I am so sorry for what your grandmother is going through. You all are certainly in my prayers and thoughts. I pray for strength for you, and I pray that God puts a hedge of protection and love around all of you. I am so glad your home safe and sound. Thank you so much for the beautiful card if I have not thanked you already, I love the picture. Have a great weekend and get some rest.

Love and blessings, Kristy

Glad you are home safe and sound. Oh I can totally relate to being in a car for over 12 hours with kiddos in tow! LOL We will be doing it again at the end of February! Yikes!

I am glad that at least you know you gradmother will be taken care off with Hospice. We used them for my aunt, and we could not have managed without them.

I will continue to pray for you and your beautiful family. We have been there and know how hard it can be.

Hugs
Noemi

Welcome home Kimberley! Sleeping in your own bed is always a really good thing.

I'm very familiar with hospice as my MIL is in it now and they do amazing things. So happy that your Grandmother is under their care now. They will be an enormous help.

Thinking of you.

hugs, Gail

Welcome home!!!! I'm in the land of cold...I really hate it. Having 4 boys I understand the gas issues...mine don't even need enchilada's : P

I'm glad you're home, but know you left a huge chunk of your heart in Kansas with your Grandma & aunts.

Yes, we had a terrible windstorm in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Many folks were without power for several days (you'd better check your refrigerator and freezer!).

Hope to see you in church on Sunday -- I have a little something for Eli...

Welcome home! So glad you made it home safely. We have not gotten any snow in St. Louis but everyone around us has. I would love to have some snow! :)
