Hi there Amy! Good Morning!
I read your e-mail. I haven't really decided what to do with the Sat Chat. I'm keeping it going for now. I may switch to doing it once a month or for special events happening in the adoption world that should be discussed. It won't disappear all together. But if there isn't going to be one on a Saturday, I'll let you all know.

So, how are you guys doing? Any news from your agency on matching you? We haven't been matched yet.
Did you have a hard time bringing up my blog? Someone has told me that my blog has been crashing their computer lately and I wonder if it's my countdown graphics.
NO problems with the blog. Rumor has it that we are in review at the moment. Our agency does get a designated list and has been matching several each week. But so far, not us. I think they are matching MCC Dec of 06 but every MCC is different so I have no idea where we are in the line
I know our agency is trying to find a good match for us, but they say they are having a hard time because the babies that have been newly coming onto the shared list have been more serious SN.
IM hearing that as well. The kids on our agencies website (the ones that dont get matched) have some serious ones as well.
I read on Carols blog she will be here this morning

I wonder where all of the mild SN babies are going. Steffie B and I were talking about that the other day.
there used to be a lot of just cleft lip/palate. Do other countries adopt as many SN kids as the USA does?
The only place I have to watch for that is Starfish and it seems like the majority of her babies are coming to the US, but two recently have gone to the Netherlands and one to Spain that I know of.
Good morning Kim and Amy : ) Watching Little Bill here and making pancakes. Heading to a pumpkin patch this morning Annslee is beside herself with joy thinking about it! Trying to do it before the temp hits 70 and spoils the mood : )
There used to be a lot of hep b babies, but I barely see any anymore and mild heart babies. Now it seems like the majority of the babies are serious. There still are a lot of cleft babies.

I know it's been way too long... Our Saturdays seem to fill up and I've been trying to get to the gym for a class that is at 9:00cst so by the time I get home chat is done.. As far is what is going on stop over at our blog :)

Just finished a new blog post over at the family blog and working on a post regarding the concert last night
I just hope that our birthmom doesn't go into labor early.... She is due Nov. 22nd but has been having contractions and has been taking meds to stop them...
The last cruise that we went on was a Disney one but that was over 15 years ago... I'm sure that they have change things since then!

Chloe's fine, thanks--we're getting over pneumonia. It's been quite a week over here. She can wear some 2T things...but for the most part, we're still in 18 months. :)

That is wonderful news Kim! You know, by the time your first little one gets old enough to be a perfect big brother/big sister...it will be time for your baby from China to come home. I think it's a wonderful plan.
Oh, and it's my Mac that gets overloaded with your site (well, yours and Steffies actually). I'm using my BIL's big,new (gorgeous!) Mac and his went dead when I first got on your site this morning too.
If I hit the "stop loading" button the minute your site comes up, it usually works and doesn't fail.
I've got to run - I have a hair appt in 1/2 hour... You know have to get rid of the reverse skunk that is starting to show :)

On my way out for a run before it gets crazy here. My SIL and 3 nieces are here until Monday. Last night we did a kid swap. She got to go out with my boys and we got to go out with her girls.

We filled out a check list form with all sorts of SN's. ASD/VSD is definitely something we would be willing to accept. They just have heart condition listed and we checked it. But we also checked a number of other conditions. It seems like something is happening with the mild SN babies. The majorities of the babies coming out on the shared list now are moderate to serious.

Just wanted to say good morning we are headed out to the pumpkin patch we go to the same one every year and this is SH first time!!!!

yeah we want to go get a pumpkin today too.........the place we used to go is now $10 a person...which doesn't sound like much, they have a petting zoo, and you get a pumpkin, but with 5 of us now...that's a costly pumpkin day...hee hee

Question....my lawyer adopted from Chile.....years ago, daughter and son are now grown...anyone ever hear of adoptions in Chile??? First time I've heard of this...
I love the one we go to is free except you buy your pumpkin has a corn maze and petting zoo etc the hayride cost if you want to do that!

We went to the pumpkin patch in early Oct. and our pumpkin has rotted already (we never even carved it)! Ugh! Now I need to obtain a new pumpkin...
I really wonder what is going on with China these days. I'm hoping that we see big numbers of referrals soon!

oh yeah 2 is a great age....Emily turned 3 in August and her little personality is now coming out. She has two older brothers and has no problem taking up for herself.....it's so funny!
