The Journey Necklace

I turn 40 next month. Yes, the big 4-0. I'm at peace with it. I am very comfortable with my life and where I am in it. I have achieved the things that were important to me and am incredibly content. My focus is on bringing home my daughter and caring for my family. I am blessed with 3 beautiful healthy sons and wonderful husband.

My Aunt and my Grandmother gave me this necklace as an early birthday gift since we will not be able to be together on my big day. My Aunt says it is a journey necklace and I have been on a journey. She was careful to point out that there are seven diamonds.

This is the best photo I could take of it as my camera is very challenged. But it means the world to me and I plan to always wear it.

That was very sweet of them. Funny thing. Before reading the entire post I counted how many stones where on it! I said to myself, yup that is her sign that Sophia WILL make it home!

How special is that necklace... It shows that your family truly understands your journey and is always behind you with their support. You have been a special person on these blogs, aways looking for ways to help others and being there for everyone. I think you should be comfortable with your 40th year... You have grown and learned so much in the years prior that you are able to share with others. HAPPY (EARLY) BIRTHDAY TO A VERY SPECIAL PERSON THAT I AM PROUD TO CALL MY FRIEND ..With all the prayers for a special birthday year....Linda

Didn't know where to contact you so here goes. We will be in Xian Aug. 25-Sept 1. I have emailed Amanda at Starfish, if you have anything that needs to go. Not sure if this gives you much time. Maybe you could let me know what they need and I can go buy it??
Thanks,
Desiree

Only 40!!! I'm only 2 years away from 50. It seems so strange to say that. Sometimes I feel like I'm still in my 20's, other times I feel 80.

It's a beautiful gift with a special meaning. Treasure the love behind the gift.

Truly Blessed's birthday is next month too!!!
