nothing is more relaxing then a quiet boat ride on the lake...well maybe sitting in the shade by the lake sipping your favorite beverage reading a good book.
Oh...that looks like fun!!! It reminds me of when we would visit my Grandpa as kids...he lived on a lake. How awesome that the lake is right there!!! I can almost smell that fresh air mixed with the gasoline fumes from the boat...ahhhh
Oh my gosh are those turtles on the dock? I'm scared of turtles. I know, pretty weak huh :) Living on a lake looks great, I could definately go for that!
So beautiful, Kimberley! I am loving seeing all those turtles on that dock! WOW! We have smaller versions around here....but never on the docks...Chelsi would love it! She loves all things living! hee-hee!
Our water is still too low to launch the boat...the drought is killing our time on the water! But we are enjoying the Seadoo...and are out there several times per week..so for that I am thankful! (I just prefer a boat ride myself!) Have a fabulous week! Love, Denise
Here is the sad thing Kim... I was looking at these photos and thinking... now, what would I take a photo of???? Hahahaha... how sad is that. Though just looking at your photos it looks so refreshing - wish I were there too... sorry I haven't been by to visit - I have been busy at work of late... take care
"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, KNOWS that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12
I am an everyday woman. I am married to my soulmate. I have three sons ages 16,13 & 4. Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.

What a wonderful backyard. Looks like you have such a peaceful place to unwind.
It's time for a boat ride... Salty Dog's been after me for a while now. He'll appreciate your reminding me.
We're envious of your fresh water :)

So very jealous. We aren't close to a lake anymore, closest one is about an hour away.

How relaxing....love the water. I like turtles BTW and they look like they are sunning themselves. :)
The turtle picture says it all! I miss Michigan in the summer!

See you soon sweet friend!!!
