Fun In The Sun..

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, I would love for you to comment about what you did. We had an absolute blast. It was warm and sunny every day and we went out on the boat, the kids went fishing and tubed. Our dear friends Dan and Cheryl opened up their summer cottage a few doors down from us and our families were able to spend time together again like we do every summer. Life couldn't be any sweeter~

we just hung around our pool and enjoyed warm sunny weather and watching the kids have a blast in the pool. It was enjoyable. My hubby is working on one of our decks (screening one in) and I sat and thought how nothing was more fun for me than just having him work around the house and see the kids all get along playing games in the pool and grilling out. We really enjoyed it. We are kind of tired of being home this morning though and I think a quick trip to the zoo for a picnic is in order.
Hope your Tueday is a good one!

The sun was a very nice treat, huh? We grilled and picnicked in the back yard on Sunday afternoon (my sister's birthday) and also got lots of yard work done. Fun times. I think I'd prefer your weekend though...

Sounds like you all had the perfect weekend to kickoff the "unofficial" start of summer!

We also had fantastic weather & enjoyed our days strolling around Central Park playground hopping, riding bikes & enjoying life. Kiara was in her glory! We spent our evenings at some of our favorite local, fun restaurants...who could beat Mexican, Italian & Chinese! :)

I don't think I had THAT much fun! But, I enjoyed dragon boating and I saw Dirty Dancing. the music was fabulous.

We went to an auction; stood in the rain, but bought some cool things and ate what amounts to as carnival food but few can resist.
Hubby put together our new grill with minimal help from me. Basically enjoyed being home and with each other. We smoked baby back ribs and ate fresh asparagus from our garden; watched a couple movies; prayed for sunshine, but, alas, got little. Still, a pleasant and relaxing weekend. I just wish it could be all the time- not the weather but the being together---no working but still having money...sigh.....

Weather was awesome, we stayed home for the first time in YEARS...it was nice, relaxing!! We took the kids down to the beach...we have to walk to ours..not far. Emily was scared of the water at first, but she soon got over that!

sounds like you had a beautiful time.

We also had a nice day here so we headed out to the beach (later in the day) the crowd was pretty much gone and we had the place to ourselves. Just does not get much better than that!!!

Have a blessed week,

Krista

We had a couple of cookouts starting on Saturday with Mikees family then Sunday at a friends house then Monday Brady stayed in the pool and I sat outside reading then he and his dad went to see Indiana Jones 4, so it was a busy but nice long weekend. Glad you guys had fun I wished we lived on a lake.

Glad you had a great weekend -- so did we, up at our cottage. The weather was gorgeous and it was hard to come home.

Next time you see Cheryl, tell her I said hello -- she may or may not remember me from high school.

Oh, and yes, we got our TA today! It looks like we'll be home from China in time for the 4th of July!!

Sounds like a glorious weekend. Love your new blog look. We spent the weekend on our boat on an island called Useppa - it is very historical - it was where the Bay of Pigs Invasion was in 1962. It is now a private island for members only but you can only get there by boat or seaplane. It is awesome for kids - they can run around and be kids and be outside all day! It's our favorite spot.
