A Big Day...Please Pray for us.

We celebrated my Grandmother's 79th Birthday last Sunday. It was bitter sweet for us. I am here in Kansas City because they have found a one inch growth in my Grandmother's lung. I am here because I cannot be anywhere else.
I was born into a family of 4 women on my Mother's side. 4 women who had always been together and did what it took to love and support one another unconditionally. When I was 16 years old, my mother died. It was absolutely devastating. My Grandmother couldn't look at me for over 2 years and not cry. We were a very wounded 3, but we went on.
My Mother is always with us. We visit her grave together and we talk about her. None of my children knew her, that is a great loss to me.
Today we find out if the growth is cancerous or not. I cannot bear the news to be anything but good, neither can my Aunt. We are not ready to be 2. My oldest sons would always remember, Eli would have photos, Sophia will have nothing. This is a great loss to me.
She went to work today knowing that today will decide her future. I am going to see if I can meet her at her house for lunch to be with her when she makes the call to find out the results.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Today could change my family forever.

You are a strong woman and so is your grandmother and aunt. You will get through this together, like you have gone through many things before. Do not live in the future, live in the present.

Praying that it will all turn out alright, no matter what, and that you find comfort.

Please know many will be praying for all of you.
For me it was my grandpa. We had a wonderful bond between the two of us.I was always Grandpa's little side kick.
We will be praying only positive good news and that God will take away that spot.
Hugs,
Mr.Brian
