Starfish Shipping Update...Please Pray That Our Boxes Arrive Safely!

Well, tonight was the night. We took all of the boxes and loaded them into the minivan and headed to FedEx. Lucky for us, they were open until 9pm.

Our FedEx man was very nice, but we were not allowed to photograph him. But below you can see six of our boxes ready to go.

We were only able to ship 6 out of our 10 boxes. The total for the six came to $814.69. They weighed 124.75 lbs. So, we will be shipping the last 4 boxes as money allows. For the families who donated, we have the tracking numbers and a photo of our shipping receipt, please e-mail me if you want this information or leave your e-mail on a comment below. I have never accepted money through my blog before, so I have documented everything so that everyone knows that their money went to what it was intended for. I deeply appreciate your faith in me and don't want to jeopardize that. I deposited all of the checks this morning, so if you keep track in your checkbook, you can log that in.

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR BOXES. I AM SO WORRIED ABOUT THEM GETTING THROUGH CUSTOMS AND ARRIVING SAFELY TO AMANDA.

Kimberley...thank you for all of the time and energy you invested in Starfish! You are an amazing lady and I'm so proud to have met you thru the wonderful world of blogs! I have never once second guessed how you would spend the money. Its so obvious your heart and soul are with the children in China. God bless you!!!

Woo hoo -- the boxes are DTC!!!

Kimberley, THANKS to you and your family for doing ALL of the work on this. What a blessing, despite the hard work, for your family.

I'm so glad we could be a little part of it.

Good morning ladies. How exciting that the boxes are on their way!

I'm crossing my fingers that they all get there, too.

Kim, have you checked into any other means of getting the boxes there? I wonder if there are families travelling to Xian who might be able to take (small!) bits with them?

Thank you for all of your hard work. It would be really easy for all of us to donate to the postage fund if you had one of those Paypal
"chip in" widgets on your blog.
If thats not possible, we can send checks again. We've got to get it ALL there! come on gals!

This is where the fun begins... tracking them around the world and the best part is when they arrive in Xi'an and you see it on the screen they are there... knowing that it is going to help... hope that paperwork helped some... take care
