Good Morning Everyone and Welcome to the Saturday Morning Chat Group!

Good Morning Everyone! I missed you all last weekend and have been really looking forward to today : )
I have 3 questions that I would like some help with. I can't seem to be able to find Kate from 'A Special Family'. We used to e-mail back and forth and I had access to her new blog, but it has been months now and I haven't heard from her, I can't get to her blog and I am worried. Does anyone know where she is?
Also, what is going on with blogger? I can't add anyone to my favorite blogs or make changes to the bottom of my blog.
Also, what is everyone using for a music player since e-snips doesn't auto play anymore? I got a good suggestion from Cougchick, but I couldn't get it set up right. Maybe I should get Tim to help me.
If you are new to the chat group, just go in to post a comment and you will see everyone in there talking.
If you would like a blue or yellow Saturday Morning Chat link for you sidebar, just let me know and I will e-mail to you : )

And a very special Thank you to Lisa from 'Osborn Odds 'N Ends' for sending me the best coffee I have ever had in my life. I am drinking it this morning and savoring every drop!

Good morning girl!! man are you exhausted from al the packin?

redmaryjanes said...

Hi there Crystal, I am so excited that you got your paperwork!

The Johnson Family said...

I am sorry I cannot answer any of those three questions I have not been using any music on mine for a while because the people that could not figure out how to turn them off got annoyed. I cant sleep so I have been checking email etc for about 2 hours this morning!

redmaryjanes said...

We didn't pack last night. I need to get some more boxes. I think that I need 4 more. The clothing that you sent is so cute. Thank you.

redmaryjanes said...

What's going on? Are you waiting for some news and that's why you can't sleep?

The Johnson Family said...

Thanks me 2!! it seemed it would never get here then..now i am like a crazy person trying to get prepared!! and prepare the kids!!

The Johnson Family said...

you are so welcome i know it was not alot but hope it helps!

redmaryjanes said...

Now, I have been wanting to ask her since Africa is not open to adoption, how you did this. I have a girlfriend who has been on many mission trips to Africa and when we decided to adopt from China, she had asked me about Africa, but I told her that you couldn't do it.

The Johnson Family said...

Since we got the papers on tuesday i am just everywhere I was awake for like 24 hours that night!! Just so excited !!! and nervous about leavign the kids !! and trying to get everything ready Shane had to resubmit his FMLA papers so we need those back again approved so he can stay with the kids while I am gone!! I want everything to be ready for her as well when we come back!! Oh our sper target opened here monday so I registered there on tuesday!! that was fun!!

Kristy said...

Good morning ladies, Kimberly I know I left you a comment telling you that I would not be here but we still have 20 minutes before we leave and I could not just stay away!!!

I have been having the same blogger problem for a week now, and I can't seem to get any help from them either, it is so frustrating. When I post something new every once in a while the tools show next to my page elements and then that is when I can add or remove something, but I can't move anything downwards . Ugggghhh

redmaryjanes said...

You are going to Africa alone?

The Johnson Family said...

This is a total leap of faith. While Chrissie was there in 2006 on a missions trip she met Savannah-Hope's mom who was very sick and had 1 year old twin girls! I LOVE twins and just really felt a connection to this situation so we sent money for medical supplies for the mom and baby supplies for the girls! fast forward to september 2007..Chrissie is on her second trip and we both neede to know was the mom ok and how were the twins? I had told her bring me the twins if the mom dies! well she went to check and found SH!! almost dead and starving!!

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Kristy!

The Johnson Family said...

At this point we came to the solution of adopting this child the mother was very excited about this and she remembered us from last year as the american family wiht the twins! So Chrissie and I talked that night and we decided we would take her if it she could make but we had to get her out of the village and checked out! Chrissie secured a meeting with socila welfare, an attorney and the parents!

redmaryjanes said...

Kristy, you are going to have a lot of fun today.

The Johnson Family said...

All documetation went fine over there and we began the wait on timmigration now it is unstable, but I have been grnated gurdianship in the malawi courts so what should happen is as soon as I get there I go to court to finalize the adoption and then I file the i600 as soon as the visa is granted I get to bring her home!

The Johnson Family said...

Good mrning kristy!!

Kimberly I am meeting a missionary in atlanta and we will travel togehter she seems incredibly sweet!!

The Johnson Family said...

Kristy where are you going today?

redmaryjanes said...

So really, this is considered a private adoption almost.

redmaryjanes said...

Kristy,
I am so sad for your friend who lost her son. It's just heartbreaking. I love how your community is doing everything it can to help them.

redmaryjanes said...

I think we may have lost Kristy. Her BIL is speaking at a church breakfast today.

Kristy said...

No I am here for a few short minutes. My bil has overcome some pretty rough stuff and he is giving his testimony this morning at a church family breakfast. We are so blessed that he is here to do this thank God.

As far as my friends Tessi and Colby, thank you for your prayers. They have a 12 year old son named Hayden that has been sleeping with them because he says he wants to be there if they need him, we know better don't we, it just breaks my heart, but I know that God has his arms around them right now and all we can do is love them and be there for them no matter how long it takes

The Johnson Family said...

My blogger keeps freezing!

The Johnson Family said...

Oh kristy i just read that this mornign and it breaks my heart thank you for sharing your story and i am praying for your friends!

Kristy said...

Oh I wish I could sit here and talk with yall, I love this chat group. Please keep us posted on those two precious cuties, I could just squeeze them!!! I hope you both have a great weekend and Kimberly I wish I could help you pack all that stuff up, you are working so hard, thank you for that. Love, Kisses and blessings, talk to you both soon.

Love, Kristy

The Johnson Family said...

kimberly this adoption has been kept very quiet over there and we are prayin git all goes through like the attorney is telling us it will!! it is very scary! and I pray they open up a program soon !! but if you know anyone who wants to adopt from africa ethiopia and liberia are very stable!

redmaryjanes said...

Have a wonderful morning Kristy!

The Johnson Family said...

bye kristy!! have a wonderful morning!

redmaryjanes said...

I think that you are going to be just fine. If you got the paperwork back, then it should go ok. I will pray for little Savannah.
It's funny how we are all tied together. I was explaining who you were to my husband, he has met Gwen. So I told him you are Gwen's SIL and also the daughter of the lady who I get my hair bows from.

The Johnson Family said...

kimberly this is such a big project you ahve taken on I hope you know how it has blessed us all you are so incredible!

The Johnson Family said...

I know it is so neat! This has been a great experience blogging and getting to follow along on everyones lives it really is a blessing!

redmaryjanes said...

It has truly blessed me and my family. When I thought of doing this I thought that maybe 12 or 15 families would help out. There are close to 45 now. So, it is so much bigger than I thought it would be and I am just amazed.
I had hoped to have everything boxed up for this weekend, but most likely we will get it all mailed next weekend.
I think I'll do it again next year. The response was so incredible. And I know that Amanda will need new things next year.
What will really get me is to see a child wearing one of our outfits on their 'gotcha day'. I will be in tears if I see that.

The Johnson Family said...

Well I think there is a good chance that will happen because the things you got are all so cute!!

redmaryjanes said...

I know, I just couldn't believe it. Everything is just darling. Plus, there were so many shoes and socks and bibs. I counted a pack of bibs as one, so really...there are about 50 bibs that we are sending.

redmaryjanes said...

Do you have any idea of a timeline as to when you will be able to go over and bring Savannah home?

The Johnson Family said...

wow!!!! it is so amazing!!

Kim said...

Good MOrning... Just getting caught up on everyone...
Crystal.... I am sooo excited for you...

The Johnson Family said...

is Sophia your first adoption?

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Kim!

redmaryjanes said...

Yes, Sophia is our first adoption. And I tell you..this is turning into one of the greatest experiences of my life. This adoption has changed my perspective on so many things. I have met some of the most amazing people. I have seen miracles.

The Johnson Family said...

good morning Kim!!!

Thank you i am so excitd too!! I can't sleep and I forgot my own name twice this week!!

The Johnson Family said...

it is truly amazing and it is amazing how it transfroms you over and over again!

Kim said...

Kimberley...
My blog is doing the same thing...
You have been one busy girl...
Looks like you did a WONDERFUL job ...they will be sooo proud...

redmaryjanes said...

Yes, I can say that I am a different woman for the better than I was before Sophia. Now, I think I may want to adopt again...but we'll see what my husband Tim thinks about that. : )

Kim said...

You sound like me... THat is what I told my DH.. I think I would like to adopt again... And right now he says no...
But when Isbella is the only child , I think he will change his mind...

The Johnson Family said...

once sophia gets a hold of him he may want to adopt 10 more times!!

Kim said...

okay.. I don't even know how to type Isabella's name...LOL..

redmaryjanes said...

Kim,
Thank you. We still have more packing to do and 2 more boxes that we are waiting to come in. But I think we have most things done. It has been a great experience for all of us. I can't wait until the boxes get to Amanda.

redmaryjanes said...

Yeah, Tim says no now too, but he gets all teary eyed just talking about her. My husband is a big guy and I know when they place that tiny girl in his arms...he will fall to pieces. We'll see, but I think we may do it again.

Kim said...

I am going to have to find a new agency.. and figure out what countries are stable..
We had thought about Guat. as we were thinking about China... but that is tooo up and down..
I sent out a check.. We have been sooo busy..I am sooo sorry.. so I just sent you money..SORRY..

redmaryjanes said...

Kim,
Thank you. Money is wonderful as it will help us pay for the postage. We are going to have around 10 boxes to ship to China, so I think it will cost around a thousand dollars.

redmaryjanes said...

I would love to know what countries are stable. It seems like each one that opens up gets flooded quickly because so many people are looking to adopt. I think it's great that there are families coming forward, but the timelines are just getting so long.

Kim said...

What is everyone doing this weekend???
I am off until Tuesday...YEAH!!!
Today John has to go to work for awhile.. so I am going to clean until around noon.. then go to Costco... these boys eat EVERYTHING....LOL..
Then out to our favorite Chinese Rest. to take our friend/tax preparer... that is where I am going to take my Secret Pal... that has no idea I am her Secret Pal... in a few weeks.. they are coming in for a visit and she has no clue..I am sooo excited.. the group is going to let everyone know who they are in June.. so then she will know... I am excited.. first person I will have met on this amazing journey..

Truly Blessed said...

Good morning Kimberley, Crystal, & Kristy (if you're still here)!

Kim said...

Sunday.. I am going to hopefully finish the quilt ~from my grandfather's shirts...
ANd then relax.. dothings around house...

The Johnson Family said...

I am a big fan of etiopia as a matter of fact that is where we were looknig but SH kinda found us..I would love to adopt again a little boy from ethioia

The Johnson Family said...

I also think vietnam is pretty stable

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Kelly!
How are you guys doing this morning? Give Katie a hug for me.

redmaryjanes said...

Kim,
I just love that quilt. It is going to be fantastic.

Kim said...

Our agency is big on ethipia.. actually the main lady has adopted two or three times from there.. but I think my agency doesn't give a lot of information.. they still haven't announced how far CCAA has gone through..
WHen I email her ..she just says a few words...

redmaryjanes said...

I have heard that Vietnam is pretty backed up and the wait times are similar to China now.

The Johnson Family said...

Good mornign tryly blessed!

Kim we are having a pajama morning!! except we got a little snow last night so the kids wanna play in it! This afternoon we have small group we are doing the study 3:16 by max lucado then church in the mornign the I take a nap and work 7p-7a at the hospital!! This is my last week to work before getting SH!!yay

Truly Blessed said...

Good morning Kim!

Katie and I won't be here long -- we're heading to a gymnastics class at 9:00 (it's a makeup class -- we missed last and this weeks' class!).

Kimberley, I cannot believe you collected TEN boxes of stuff. That is simply amazing!

As for adopting a 2nd time, we knew when we started the process for Katie we'd go back for a little sister. Katie has brought so much joy into our hearts, lives and home, it will be amazing to have another little one running along beside her!

Heather said...

RMJ - you must be drinking coffee to relax after all that packing!! Thanks for all you did to make that outreach happen. I am still in awe!

I will be so interested to see what others are doing for music - my poor blog is still and silent - I hate that - I love choosing music.

Hannah and I are up early and daddy and Em are still snoozing, but I have a working computer this week so I thought I'd try to check in and say hi...trying to catch up on conversation:)

Hannah is literally ROCKIN to playhouse Disney!

redmaryjanes said...

Tim Eli and I are still in pajamas. Zach and Tyler are dressed. We have no plans for today, but Tim and I are going to out tonight for dinner. We volunteered Zach to babysit.

The Johnson Family said...

There are some couples at our church who went through kazaksthan (sp?) and it went very smotthly!

Kim said...

Funny story.. I went into JoAnn's fabric to see if thise yarn was in there for my mother... she is making to blankets for my final gifts to my SP and SB.. and she is getting ready to start the second one..ANd when I was asking the lady about my quilt.. getting yarn to tie.. she wanted to see it..
So I told her what it was for. and her nephew just got their little girl from China on Thanksgiving Day.. but she did not think they waited that long..it is amazing how many people you just run into..

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Heather! We started out with Disney this morning at 6am when Eli woke up, but now he's watching Dumbo and playing with Tyler.

The Johnson Family said...

Good morning heather!

Kim said...

Good Morning Kelly..
I love following your posts on your amazing trip
Crystal... sound like fun.. I actually get to sit here and talk. usually work on Sat.

Truly Blessed said...

Speaking of Vietnam, I have friends who left there yesterday with their gorgeous 6 month old daughter Maia!

That program has slowed down quite a bit since so many China families flocked over there to do concurrent adoptions. The difference with Vietnam is that agencies here work with specific orphanages there. So there are a limited number of babies from they can assign.

If you look into Vietnam, make sure you choose an agency with ties to several provinces, it will help the "odds" of getting a faster referral. Oh, and boys are available MUCH more quickly than girls in VN also.

The Johnson Family said...

amazingly all mine are sleeping!

Kim said...

I am in two ... One is yours and the other is April LID Yahoo group...
The april one is done in June..
And I thought yours was done when the person receives their referral...
I am getting prepared for the final give...
I think my SB will be getting theirs in the next 6 months...

Truly Blessed said...

Gotta run, we'll be back!

The Johnson Family said...

awhh that is neat that your friends are bringing their baby home!! maia what a cute name i love to hear about family;s comign together!!:)

It seems that boys are more available than girls in most countries!

redmaryjanes said...

Oh, you said something about a final gift, so I got worried! I am deleting our other comments to your SB won't see.

Kim said...

I am not leaving.. hoping to get another SB after this one...
Is that how it works..
Or maybe I am confused..

Kim said...

Can you explain how it works...
I must not understand.???

The Johnson Family said...

okay i am sorry having a blonde moment what is SB?

Kim N Jeff said...

good morning everyone...

redmaryjanes said...

I plan on keeping people with their SB's until they bring their children home because they have formed a relationship with them a lot of the time. I know that your person would never want to give you up. But I could ask if people want to swap.

redmaryjanes said...

Have a great day Kelly! We'll be here until noon.

Kim said...

NO.. I don't want to swap...
I am emailing you..
SB ~ is Secret Buddy...
It is sooo fun..

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Kim...how are you guys?

The Johnson Family said...

oh okay!!

The Johnson Family said...

Well my monkeys are stirring so I am going to get some breakfast going! i will try to check back in a little bit!

redmaryjanes said...

Have a great breakfast Crystal!

The Johnson Family said...

By the way has anyone ever owned or know anything about the ergo carrier? I received one as a gift for Savannah-Hope it seems amazing but just wondered if anyone had any feedback on it!

Kim said...

Have a Great Breakfast Crystal.. I will be right over..LOL.
HELLO KIm...
How is everyone???
Busy weekend???
How are the fur-babies...

Kim N Jeff said...

Sorry just went back thru and got caught up on past comments...

Funny you ask... I was home sick yesterday got the wonderful cold that everyone at work has... so had laptop set up right next to bed... So I'm being ultra lazy sitting in bed typing while dh sleeps :) and dogs sprawled out :)

Kim N Jeff said...

I am actually using project play list for my music - haven't had any problems with them and they have a pretty good selection of music...

Other than that don't really know what is going on with blogger but it is really frustrating...

redmaryjanes said...

I haven't heard of the Ergo carrier. I haven't really looked for one yet since we aren't close to referral.

redmaryjanes said...

Hmm...is their site projectplaylist.com? How do I get to them?

Kim N Jeff said...

hi Kim - fur kids are doing great - Giz went to school yesterday and is eating very well.. They think that they have narrowed problem down to kidneys so he has to get these water treatments everyweek

Kim N Jeff said...

yep projectplalist.com it is...

you will need to set up an account but it is free..

if you need help pm me and I'll walk you thru

redmaryjanes said...

Kim,
I'll check it out this afternoon, and I'll definitely let you know if I can't figure it out : )
I'm glad that Giz is doing better.

Kim N Jeff said...

can I also just say how sick of snow I am... we are getting this lake effect stuff right now... It's pretty and all but so far we have gotten 4 inches and it's not stopping

Kim N Jeff said...

kim - btw love the pjs

Kim said...

I have one of those wrap carriers..
Like the baby hawks..
I am going to get another one when we get closer..
This one was from a lady that actually makes them here in AZ. she kept coming into the store.. and this ventage american flag one was clearanced .. so I figured my DH could use it..
I will get a girly one later..

redmaryjanes said...

I couldn't post there for a minute..
Kim, I love that Chinese money box that you got...very cool!

redmaryjanes said...

The snow is finally starting to melt here in Michigan. Things are supposed to start warming up next week.

Kim said...

Okay.. maybe I can post now..
Kim~ glad Giz is doing well.. KyLee loves dressing Delilah.
It is sooo funny.. sorry about the cold.. we are having really nice weather... but I will be complaining about the heat soon...

Kim~ thanks for explaining.. And the money box.. that is sooo neat.. I will put some books or maybe some toys or who knows...
Can't wait to find out what the symbols mean.. just need to make time to look it up...

redmaryjanes said...

Yes, I am curious about what the symbols mean too. Maybe when you are in China you can get some special things to put in it.
It's so cool having you on here all morning!

Kim said...

I was soo excited to be able to talk this morning.. I usually only get to say hello and bye...
I sooo hope that Gwen has a blogger bash for all of us.. that will be sooo fun..
I can't wait to meet all of you..

Kim said...

My first meeting with someone will be in a few weeks...
Can't wait.. Maybe in the long run we will go to China together also.. our LID are 4 days apart..

redmaryjanes said...

I think that eventually something will be planned for everyone to be able to come together.
I would love to meet everybody. It's funny though because whenever I meet someone, they are different than what I thought they would be. It's like meeting someone all over again.

Kim said...

I want to give her a little gift.. does anyone have any suggestions..
something small but meaningful...

redmaryjanes said...

Who are you meeting?

I have met Steffie, Gwen, Becky and Kelly from Katie's Antics.

redmaryjanes said...

When I met Steffie for the first time, she gave me a cd of beautiful Chinese music. I listen to it quite a bit.

Kim N Jeff said...

hey back again... not sure what is going on with blogger...

blogger bash now that would be fun... Where are we looking at doing it>

Kim said...

That is funny...
I wonder what you will think when you meet me.LOL..
What are your plans for today???
I am excited to go out to dinner.. the kids LOVE the food there..
I will get take out once in awhile..
We are celebrating my bday also.. since we are not able to go out to eat during the week..

Kim said...

I am going to meet my Secret Pal from the Yahoo group.. she is sooo amazing.. this is their first child..
Kim~ you might know.. since you are in that group.. i know I am the only person who goes on her blog... so I don't want to give to much info..
What is the name of the CD...

redmaryjanes said...

Blogger has really been wierd the last couple of weeks.

Kim N Jeff said...

lol I could only imagine the laughs we would all have meeting one another :)

Kim where in az are you? Close to Phoenix?

redmaryjanes said...

When is your birthday Kim??? You know I have to ask.

Glinda said...

Good morning.

Just popping in as I do my usual mad dash to the gym so I can flog myself with the treadmill...

After the gym, I will be holding my husband captive in TJMaxx and then he will reward me with a nice lunch out...I loooove Saturdays.

Hope all is well with everyone...

Kim N Jeff said...

is she listed on our group site

Kim said...

Kim~ my bday is March 12 (Big ole 37...don't want to be...)

Kim~ Tempe... right next to Phoenix.. were ASU is located...

Kim said...

Kim~ no she is not listed on there..
I found her on the Secret Pal list..
and started posting to her blog before we actually started sending gifts..

redmaryjanes said...

The CD is playing right now, but we can't find the case. Tim's looking for it, so I'll let you know when we find it on our counter.

Kim said...

Trying to figure out what colors she likes for the blanket my mother is crocheting..
She says yellow , but her favorite color is blue..
SO I told my mom to make it cream.. and then we will figure out the ribbon color..
It is hard to figure for someone else... My SB was easy.. she always says her favorite.. so I ahve done that..

Kim said...

Thanks Kim...
That would be a nice gift..
I am excited..
What little things excite me..LOL..

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Glinda! That sounds like a perfect Saturday Morning! Thank you for your Stafish box. Those coats are wonderful.

Kim N Jeff said...

thinking I should hop a midwest flight out there for a weekend :) to get out of this snow!!

redmaryjanes said...

Yeah, we all should just show up on her doorstep.
: )

Glinda said...

I am the one who should be thanking you...more than likely I would never had the opportunity to do something like this, so it was my pleasure to be able to be a part of it; I bow in reverence to your giving spirit dear friend.

Kim said...

That is fine...
But warning you.. our house is not huge...
But it is cuddly..LOL..

Glinda said...

P.S. If anybody has a blogger bash, don't forget to invite me...I'll bring the bubbles...champagne that is.

Kelley said...

Wow...lots of comments already! Good morning everyone! I'm off to catch up now!

redmaryjanes said...

Cuddly sounds perfect to me. Our house isn't huge either. With 4 kids, every inch has a purpose and is in use. But I like it that way. We could use one more bathroom and one more bedroom, but we're getting by just fine.

Kim N Jeff said...

sorry to bring up past posts... but is anyone considering doing a concurrent adoption while you wait...

Jeff and I are and think that we have found a domestic agency that we like

Heather said...

Okay ladies - must sign off - the bigger of my two ladybugs just got up feeling very yucky - off to do the snugglebug with my little sickie:)

Have a blessed day - so much for the bridal shower we were attending today - maybe next time!

redmaryjanes said...

We could never forget you Glinda! Some bubbly sounds fabulous. I couldn't bear to pack away that little heart ornament away with my Christmas things, so I have it out of my desk. It is so cute!

Kim N Jeff said...

in regards to blogger bash... where would a central location be for all of us???

I could do a summer one... if anyone likes music we have a great two week long festival her called summerfest..

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Kelley! How is little Chloe feeling today?

redmaryjanes said...

Heather,
I didn't know you were still here, you've been so quiet...have a great weekend!

redmaryjanes said...

Hmm...Kim, I'll come if you do it!

Kim N Jeff said...

good morning Kelley :)

Kim said...

We have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths...WOuld like to have 4 or 5 bedrooms and 3 baths...but we are doing just fine... Pretty soon the older ones will be going to collage.. so then we will have plenty of room..
No adoption in store for us until Isabella is here.. then maybe I will be able to talk DH into another.. don't want Isabella to be the only child..
We will have to see..

Don and Lisa Osborn said...

Hi! Not sure if anyone is still here but I am so glad you got the box and are enjoying the coffee...

I wish I could help you pack up all the stuff so you wouldn't have to do it alone...Next time maybe have a couple of helpers...:o)

Have a fabulous day!

Lisa

Kim said...

I would love to come.. my DH is sooo worried about me going to meet ladies I have never met before...
I have a chance to go somewhere this summer and he is getting kind of worried...
He doesn't understand how I could fly somewhere and go stay with someone I don't know..
Trying to explain..

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Lisa! I am drinking the coffee right now. It is so good, my hubs loves it too. Thank you so much!

Glinda said...

Oh, Kim, I love that you love that ornament...

Alas, parting is such sweet sorrow, I must go, my treadmill awaits...

A fantastic weekend to all...

redmaryjanes said...

Kim Bison, you guys are in EXACTLY the same boat we are in.

redmaryjanes said...

Have a great weekend Glinda!

redmaryjanes said...

Well, I have never flown somewhere to meet someone, but Nancy from ASENND came here from Indiana to meet me, Steffie and Kelly. She got her own hotel room and just met us for dinner. I have seen where groups of ladies have flown to meet.
What if you brought your hubs with you, would he feel better?

Kelley said...

Well, I've decided that trying to catch up is not a good idea if there are more than 100 comments. Too many people popping in and then leaving before I can say, "HI!" Sometimes you just have to jump in. :)

Chloe is coughing up a storm today, but I'm glad we have the right diagnosis this time. It's been a real hassle trying to get this girl well! But I like the new doctor a lot...Chloe has pneumonia in her right lung, in case you haven't seen the blog lately.

Kim said...

I am going to spice up the house a little and do some painting.. we just had new windows and doors put in.. and now I am going to paint the two bathrooms and the living room - dining room and paint the cabinets in the kitchen and put hardware on them...
Give the house a different look

Kim N Jeff said...

I think it would be a blast to meet everyone face to face :) tell him that he could come to :) but that he would be out numbered :) besides the male dogs in the house

Heather said...

I was quiet - trying to stop the tornado that is Hannah:) ANd taking it all in - never heard of project playlist - will have to look into that and my burning question is.....Kelley, how is sweet Chloe today? Hoping she is feeling good.

Bubbly, sounds so good, can't remember the last time I was even in the presence of bubbly!

I know, I said I was going but I have sickie propped on the couch next to me and the little one calm for a moment, so I am trying my bestest to chat!!!

Kim said...

Well that would be okay.. but due to money... we would have to bring all the kids. I don't have family here.. and DH family can not come and watch the kids..
So... you know how that goes..

redmaryjanes said...

Kelley,
I didn't know that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia. Poor baby. I am very glad though that you have found a doctor that you are more comfortable with.

I am hoping that in a couple weeks when we meet my SP and her husband.. he will kind of understand...
We have not been to any of the events..
Kind of shy away due to the wait..
Don't know why

redmaryjanes said...

I'm glad that you can stay a while longer Heather. The pictures you post of your girls are so beautiful. We have a lot of redheads in our family. My SIL is a gorgeous redhead.

Heather said...

Lisa - you here girl? Em's not feeling well and she has broken out the stickers - you made a girl with a stinky head (her words not mine) feel so much better - wahoo!

redmaryjanes said...

Quite a few people people have been talking about some type of a get together. I think it would be amazing.

Kim N Jeff said...

Or better yet he could even meet Jeff if he likes sports they would get along great.

Heather said...

Oh, we love that red hair - she is the spitting image of my grandfather and my father - genes are amazing, I tell ya!

Heather said...

DId I hear get together???? How fun would that be????

Kelley said...

Heather, I'm sorry to hear that Emily is sick! This has been a bad winter for germs, I think. Sounds like Hannah is having fun. We're getting ready to watch the Wiggles here...

Kim said...

Kim~ I am putting a little post together right now..
Nick and John went to the Suns~Jazz game last night.... 15th row...i will let you know when i post in a little bit..
They were excited to see Shaq

redmaryjanes said...

I was hoping that Eli would have red hair. He is named after his great grandfather who is a redhead, but he has brown hair. My husband's hair is brown, but if he grows a beard, it is red.

redmaryjanes said...

This has been a bad year for flu bugs. Tyler was home yesterday with a slight fever, but I think it was from the shots he got the day before at his 12 year check up.

Kim said...

Nick has beautiful red hair... he loves it.. he says all the girls like it...LOL

Heather said...

I think that is so funny when the beard is a different color! My dad had this brilliant head of red wavy hair and his moustache is completely white - so funny! EMily caught us off guard when she was born, she had a lot of hair and it was RED! As a baby, baby, it looked almost orange, it has deepened as she gets older - the only hting is EVERYONE touches it - everywhere she goes, people want to touch it

Kim N Jeff said...

okay the boyz are all up... time to get out of bed :)

Gotta walk to dogs they are getting restless...

be back in a bit.

Heather said...

Of course all the girls like that red hair:)

Emily stands much taller than most of her male classmates but they all say they will marry her - why? because she looks like Ariel - oh it makes us laugh!!

redmaryjanes said...

Enjoy your walk Kim. There is a lot of sunshine here...I hope you have some there too.

~verna said...

Good Morning! Just getting going here. Keith let me stay in bed an extra hour while he watched M&N

redmaryjanes said...

That is so cute! She does look like Ariel. The girl who Tyler has known since they both were born was always smaller than him, but now she is a head taller. The boys will catch up: )

Heather said...

This has been an incredibly germy year, although for our family last year and the year before were horrendous - Em was on a first name basis with the ped

redmaryjanes said...

Good Morning Verna!
How is Noah doing?

redmaryjanes said...

I got an e-mail from Amanda and she mentioned to me that she really liked the 'I Support Starfish Foster Home' graphic that you did.

Heather said...

Whoever has sunshine, enjoy it!! It is flooding here - boo hoo!

Kelley said...

Verna, I love the pictures on your blog! Sounds like things are hectically wonderful!

Heather said...

I tried to place the Starfish on my site, but Blogger was being really creepy (and my computer was being really sllllllow) so I gave up - I will try again - it is beautiful.

redmaryjanes said...

Last year was a lot worse for us too, but so many families that we know have had a tough year this year.

Kelley said...

Blogger has been giving me fits, too. I know that several folks have mentioned that today. I can't access any of the sidebar features on my blog past the profile. Weird!

Jewels of My Heart said...

Hi Kimberly,
It has been a month or more the last time Kate emailed me back.... I know she has been very ill.
My blogger side bar hasn't been working either.

redmaryjanes said...

My sidebar is messed up too. I can't access the bottom half of it. I can't add anyone to my favorite blogs list or change any of the lower graphics.

redmaryjanes said...

Daleea,

I JUST LOVE THIS ST. PATRICK'S DAY HEADER!

redmaryjanes said...

I am worried about Kate. I knew she was really sick before..is she sick again? She always replies to my e-mails and I haven't heard anything in such a long time and I can't get to her blog at all now.
Can you get to her blog?

Nancy said...

Good morning everyone.
Just got in from shovelling 3-4 inches. I am sure they told me I would not be doing that ever again when we moved further south.

Kim said...

Hopefully they will fix it soon...
I need to change some families around..

redmaryjanes said...

Hi there Nancy! How are you? I know that we are supposed to have a little warm up next week.

Nancy said...

We are actually suppose to be in the 40's tomorrow.

They cancelled school yesterday "due to the impending winter storm" that did not really hit until after 5:00pm yesterday.

Nancy said...

My boys are already bundled up and on the hills sledding and snowboarding as we speak.
They love the snow.
Hubby is still in bed.

Heather said...

Verna - I just went to visit your blog - I have never been there - love it! How cute are your littles? Way cute!

Kelley said...

I think that some schools have set a new record with snow days this year. I hope everyone doesn't have to keep going far into June, though. It's terrible to have to go to school when it should be summer!

redmaryjanes said...

Most of the snow is gone around our house right now. The lake is still frozen solid though.

redmaryjanes said...

My sons already have to make up one of their snow days.

Nancy said...

The boys last day was suppose to be May 20th. They have taken away all the extra days put into the calendar, and will now have to go until May 22nd.
Not too bad really.

Nancy said...

I am not sure if I know who Kate is. Has anyone heard from Sen? Why did she disable her blog?

Kim said...

Well it has been nice chatting ladies...
I have to get my cleaning done.. we are going to Costco... this ought to be fun...
LOVE stocking the freezer... have to with 2 grown boys...
they will eat you out of house and home...LOL..
Maybe I will stop back in a little bit..
Kim~ send me an email if you have the name of the cd or any other idea for the meeting of my SP...
Thanks again..
Stop by and see the pictures from the two oldest boys going to the Suns game last night

redmaryjanes said...

Have fun at Costco Kim. I like going there. Enjoy your Saturday off. I'll send you an e-mail!

Kelley said...

I miss "Search and Destroy" a lot. Sen is such a great writer!

Heather said...

Okay don't throw things at me - but I would LOVE a snow day - we have not had even one this year - unheard of. I can't believe I am saying this but I miss them

redmaryjanes said...

I heard that she had been getting some pretty nasty comments, so she decided to turn it off.

She does have a new blog dedicated to Mr. Brian though and it's hilarious.

Heather said...

Kim - I have to stop by your blog too - I think I have been there before but now I'm not sure - have fun at Costco - great place to go:)

~verna said...

OK ladies, I'm not able to keep up with all this chatting. SO much fun!!

Noah is doing well. He is a busy boy. He can say a few words now. He can duplicate me saying "My-aaa" when I have to get after her for being mean/naughty. Too bad that is how he learned to say it but I have to be on her frequently.

As for blogger, Stef said the problems are listed on their known issues page. So we all have to be patient.
