What Inspires You?

I am drawn to doers and healers and lovers, the vulnerable and the strong equally if they can put their hearts out there. Free spirits...I love free spirits. Nature is always giving me something to think about, the seasons, the balance in the world. Women in general I find very inspiring...mothers, wives, sisters, friends...the way that we hold families, friends and dreams together. It is our way. We are healers and lovers. We carry the dreams of ourselves and those we love in our hearts and do everything we can to make them come true.

Share with us what inspires you...

I read this post this morning...and I've been thinking about it throughout this morning. I would have to say that all you Blogging Friends are my inspiration. I honestly don't know how I lived without all of you guys. You are always there to make the day better, may it be a funny joke, an inspiring story, or just a simple prayer. I thank God for all of my bloggy buddies everyday because I would seriously be lost without you guys...

There, I broke the ice...! ;)

I am inspired by Gods creation. I marvel at how God thought of everything. Oranges ripen in the winter here in CA and that is just the time when us humans need more vitamin C to boost our immune systems. Thank You God! I am inspired and in awe of how small I am in comparison to the solar system and I KNOW that God loves and cares about me, little old me. And all of you too!

I am inspired by the "underdogs" of the world...the ones who prosper and find happiness when faced with unbearable odds...they are the true heros! What a wonderful question to pose - thank you.

I agree...great question. I'm inspired by people who help those you cannot help themselves and improve other's lives. Let's see, the founders of the Half the Sky Foundation, Love Without Boundaries, Amanda at the Starfish foster home. They inspire me to be a more giving, caring person. To do more for others. My Mother inspires me, and so do all of you out in the blogging adoption community. :)

I am inspired by God's generosity. He gave the best and most beautiful world in which to exist. He gave us the blessings of companionship, the ingredients and the tools with which to create for ourselves the life perfect for us. He gave us prayer to soothe us during the toughest situations and the ability to learn patience. He created us with the ability to choose what we each need to be happy. He surrounded us with beauty. He inspired someone to create bloggerland. He truely inspires us all. He is inspiration.
And, Kim, you inspire us all to try to do better for our fellow humans with your kindness and generosity to others.

I am inspired by all of the people in this world who are willing to help other people without wanting something in return..
I am also inspired by the people in this world who look to find ways to improve their lives in any situation... and who will make a mistake a learning experiance instead of an excuse to do something else that is not a very wise choice.. and use that mistake as the excuse...
Great post..
Have a Great Day...
Kids are all home today...

The sound of her laughter, yet unheard. The scent of her skin, yet to be taken in. The pitter patter of little feet on my hardwood floor, yet to be walked on by one so small. The image of her eyes looking back at me, yet to be seen. The thought of that day she is first placed in my arms.
The first time she calls me Mom.

Lately, those have been my greatest inspirations.

First, I am inspired by God. Especially when He speaks to me and I actually listen.

Second, Kimberley, I am inspired by beautiful people like you. What a great question you've raised today.

Third, I am inspired by all of the women who have responded thus far. Kris...your comment just started the tears flowing.

Last (but certainly not least) I am inspired by Lily. She moves me like I never dreamed possible.

I am inspired by the opportunities and possibilities God gives us each day.

To be able to encourage someone, or do something for them blesses me and makes me happy.

watching a child try something over and over again and then succeeding. Little ones don't know what "can't" means until they hear it from someone else.

Nature and my mom, God with out question. Nature is so taken for granted just think of how may beautiful shades of green there are in a forest. The incredible pinks and organes in a sunset, the blue/grean ocean. No painter can ever replicate that. Nature inspires me to see the world in ways I just cannot put in to words.

I am inspired by second chances, supportive words, spirituality, the concept of balance in my life is HUGE!

But, I think most of all I am inspired by honesty!

Thank you for this very inspiring question Kimberley. You definitely inspire me and I thank God that you have come in to my life.

I am inspired by people who make a difference in the world for others. I am inspired by those who help orphans. I am inspired by teachers. I am inspired by those who do what is right when nobody would ever know the difference. And I am inspired by the moms in Blogland recording their thoughts, their journey, their loves, their hopes, and even their worries. The world seems cozier and kinder with this connection:)! I am inspired by God who nloves me and all of us in our brokenness.

Kimberly I think this is a beautiful idea. Although there are so many things that inspire me, I will name a few.
1. All of you out there in blogland that open your lives up to all of us and share your most personal thoughts and feelings inspires me.
2. My children and neices inspire me by the way they love each other, I love to hear laughter coming from them no matter what their age.
3.My son Christopher married a beautiful girl that already had a son , (our grandson Joshua) and the way he stepped right into that role and the way he loves him more than life inspires me.
4.The way our sons love their wives inspires me.
5.My husband Frank inspires me , because he is "Good" and "Godly" and because he is my mate that god picked out for me.
6.The way my Daddy takes care of my momma that has alzheimers inspires mountains of love out of me.
7.My little sister Kerry shared all three of her pregnancies with me her"infertile sister", and the moment all three of the girls were brought to the room , I was always the first to hold them, while my sister Kerry was looking on with big monkey tears streaming down her cheeks, wishing that I could have experienced what she had just experienced so badly, but the inspiration was looking into those little eyes and knowing right then and there all three times that I wanted to be the best Aunt (meme) that I could possibly be. They are all three my Heart...
AND LAST.... My father in heaven, he knows every hair on my head, he knows my thoughts before I do, he loves me and you enough that he gave up his only son so that we could have eternal life with him...now that's inspiration, his love inspires me to try to be the person he created me to be and to live my life the way he planned it.

And Kimberly by asking me to write these things down and having done so has been an inspiration in itself. Thank you.

Love and Blessings, Kristy

My children inspire me... to be a better person, mother, friend, example, wife, Christian. I have this overwhelming feeling that this is my one shot. When they're gone, that's it. I don't want to mess it up!

Strong women, I love the blogging world and the strength that's written on the pages I read, it leaves me inspired.
My children, they inspire me to be all that I can be, they deserve that and more.

Love this question & I thought a lot about it before answering...

I am inspired by nature, by children of all ages, by sincerity, by people who have overcome difficult situations to rise above, by so many of the wonderful people whom I've met right here in "blogland"...

Both my daughter & my husband inspire me everyday to be a better person, wife, mother...

And I realized while thinking about this, that the things that inspire me always make me feel good & give me a great feeling of hope...which can all be attributed to God's hand , which underlies all inspiration.
