My Starfish Babies...

I think that we all have causes that are near and dear to our hearts. It's no secret that I am truly inspired by the Starfish Foster Home and Amanda who is its founder.
I had a unique opportunity this year to sponsor a child at the Starfish Home. Anyone can do it, just go to their webpage www.chinesestarfish.org or to Amanda's blog at www.chinesestarfish.blogspot.com
Today in the mail I received the photos and information on the two children who we chose to sponsor. They are just so beautiful. I look forward to following their journeys as their little hearts and bodies are nurtured at Starfish Home and then placed in the arms of their forever families.
I have often wondered if maybe our child will come from Starfish.

How great! I know this little guy from Christine's blog. She took such a good care of him when he got his surgery...

Amanda is an amazing lady. I've been following her blog since she first began taking in the sickest of the sick babies -- the ones the orphanages turned away.

How wonderful that you're sponsoring two of them. They are getting wonderful care from Amanda and her staff and volunteers, and some fortunate parents will be forever blessed because of the Starfish home.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Sophia is from Amanda's home. Wouldn't that just be amazing!
