My hubby is getting ready to take Lily up to Home Depot for their "project day"...she is sooo excited AND she slept all the way thru the night last night in her big girl bed so daddy is going to buy her a new tool as a special present!

I love that she goes to Home Depot, I think that's a hoot! Stef is having trouble getting her kids to look nice in a Christmas photo for her cards. The photo she has up is funny~
And Kelly's new babe is beautiful!
Nikki, Stef took the most hysterical photo of the three kids and thinks it's painful that she has to do another photo shoot.
I think she should send the picture out as her 2007 Christmas card. It's wonderful of all three kids, and exactly portrays each child's personality that she blogs about each day!
RMJ -- TSO is Trans-Siberian Orchestra. From what I've heard and read, the concerts are fantastic. I'm really glad we were able to get tickets!

Yes, to answer your question, we will be in Church on Sunday (Bob King is preaching part 2 of a 2 part message -- Jeff is guest preaching at Mars Hill).
I always look for you on Sundays, but it's pretty busy at church. I'll stand on the balcony and find you tomorrow.
I have heard that there some parades scheduled today. It was 10 degrees when I woke up this morning.

Yeah, we're always running late! We usually go into the main service (but last week E & the boys went to the Studio).
We go to the studio a lot too. Zach likes it there.
J & K usually go to the Studio (maybe it has something to do with the cookies?), but I prefer to not to watch the screen.
It always seem like the main sanctuary is packed by the time we get there. We go to the outside building sometimes too, but now that it's so cold I'm not sure. Tyler loves the JH youth group and Eli loves his Sunday School room. Zach likes the High School youth group too. It was really a good change for us.
Is there a midnight service at church on Christmas eve?
There are three services on Dec. 24, I think..

Still no word on the when's for Noah . . supposed to get LOA this week. We are getting the snowstorm here in MN today.
I love Stef's picture too. Kind of says it all. I opted out of a formal picture this year. A few choice snaps cropped to fit.
Not decorating until we close on the new house. The only thing in the house for a week will then be the tree.
Pretty bummed, but don't want to do it twice.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I didn't check the mail yesterday so it may be out there.
I hope that Gwen is hanging in there ok. That little Maggie just melts my heart. She has been through so much for being so young. She is in the perfect place now though, with the perfect family.
I got the whole family in a picture with Santa last year, but the older kids raised such a stink over going that we're just going to take Eli this year.
I think I got his boots a little too big, but whenever I get the size he is currently wearing at the beginning of the season, he outgrows it too early. So, I'm hoping bigger is better with the boots and they will last all winter.
I know poor little Maggie. It breaks my heart just thinking about all the things she has gone through in her short little life.

Just a little hello before leaving, wasn't sure you would be here by this busy time of the year.
We did the Ginger bread's house this morning with Maëlle and that wasn't easy. Now we're leaving for Ikea, a birthday party (bowling) and some more shopping. It is so cold today feels like January. Anybody wants some of our cold and snow?

I have some great pictures of Gwen & Scott along with all of the cousins playing last week...I will try to put together a slide show, so everyone can see them. Maggie let me sit next to her and Gwen, but that was about it. Emily on the other hand sat in my lap and played with her sister. The boys were out and about with my girls - It was great to be home even for a few days.

Michelle, have fun in the malls. We are having a snow storm today and I work at 2PM. Will be taking the Explorer so that I can make it home. Outside looks Christmassy but we have not set up our manger inside--we don't do a tree. Will post pictures when it is up.
Just want to say, I love trees but the manger works for us. We switched about 15 yrs ago after my hubby made the manger for the church Christmas program. No Needles but also no pine smell :(
Verna, we do a Christmas tree but it is artificial so we don't get the real pine smell either. I light candles that are pine sented so we get artificial scent, lol!
Can't wait to see pictures of your manger all set up!

Got home from the hospital last evening...surgery went well...thanks again for the prayer post. I'm trying to update my blog right now...with Ava asleep on my lap!...it's slow when I can only type with one hand!
We have been "fluffing" the tree for the past few days and think we are finally ready to begin adding the decorations tongight! Hope your decorating is going great :)
