Introducing My New Car...Yes, it's a minivan, but I'm not going to start wearing jumpers.

Well, the Yukon engine was pretty trashed, so we had little choice but to buy a new vehicle and get ourselves home. We loved our Yukon XL, but decided that we should choose something that can still fit all of our children, but provide us with the gas mileage that our commutes need. So, here it is: Our new minivan. minivan, minivan, minivan I swore I would never drive a minivan. But here it is. My minivan. Mine is white, but I couldn't find a white picture. It has the tv, sunroof, leather and a navigation system with a sultry mans voice. He's been named Jeeves. Someone tell me I still have it going on. minivan, minivan, minivan.

We made it home safe and sound at 5:30am. I am going to crawl into work in an hour or so being that I have no vacation time left for the year.

I think it is beautiful and it is probably so comfortable. Enjoy it and stop thinking silly thoughts. I love how you transformed the blog to include the "Los Tres Reyes Magos".

So let me know how much you love it and by the way you made a great color choice white is the only way to go. Glad you are home safe drink lots of coffee and soda today.

There's a reason minivans are so popular with families, right? They work.

Hey, Mama of five, you'll have space for all of your kiddos, all your stuff AND you'll be saving on gas. What could be better?

What year was your Yukon? I thought it was the same as mine ('03, with 125,000+ miles on it -- hoping our engine isn't getting trashed!).

Have a great day.

I feel for you having to go to work without any sleep! Believe it or not, my kids are begging me to get a minivan. They've seen so many cool comercials lately. You're going to love it. I like my Yukon XL too, but I think I might have enjoyed my minivan even more.

I still think you've got it!!!

You're Home!!! Great. Hey, I loved our minivan and would take another one over our Explorer any day. It's got so many bells and whistles. We never had that stuff. Good gas milage is a big plus with today's prices.

Sounds like your minivan is all tricked out. I don't think you will start having to wear the "mom" jeans yet. :)

I drive an Envoy now but to be honest I miss my mini van. With lots of kids it is really the best way to get around. I say "yeah" to the new purchase but if you start wearing jumpers we might have a blog intervention;)

Glad you are back home! Enjoy your new car! My mom went back to the minivan a couple of months ago (I greatly discouraged this decision...lol!) No, it's a nice car.

You still got it! No minivan is going to change that. And white is the way to go--easiest to keep clean surprisingly. I am really, really sorry you had so much trouble in my home state here; but, hey! You're going to get much better gas mileage now.
Glad you're home and safe and hope you're relaxing with a coffee right now!

Welcome Home, even if you pulled back home in a minivan.

I thought I wanted that exact same minivan because of the gas issue as well, but the dh refused and I'm so glad because like you, I love my Yukon XL, it's just so me. But if I were to get a minivan, that would be the one.
