I believe that most of us are familiar with Amanda at 'Chinese Starfish'.
She is looking for a home for one of her children who is having a difficult time being placed they believe because he is a boy. His name is Michael and he was born with a cleft lip and pallat. He sounds like an amazing child. Visit Amanda's site for more information.

oh he is precious. I will pray his family finds him quickly.
Just said a prayer for sweet Michael.
(There is a message for you on my blog.)
RMJ, yes, you are a PAP (Prospective Adoptive Parent).
He is adorable. My oldest son was born with a cleft lip and palate. I pray that Michael finds a forever home soon! :)
Hope he finds his family soon.
What a handsome boy, may he find his forever family soon!!
I don't think you can pick a baby to adopt here in Canada, you have to wait for a referral from your own agency. Am I wrong? Is it different in the States?
Sigh! As a mom with a boy who has a cleft issue, I can't understand why these kids are not just snapped up in an instant!!
Maybe some of you could share why more than 80% of families who adopt (and not just from China- that # is higher, I believe) request girls? A friend of mine is adopting her 3rd son! Boys are just great!!
