I love all things Irish. My moms family is Irish and I like nothing more than to spend a week each summer there among the locals. Do you watch Ballykissangel on PBS? It's a wonderful Irish tv show!!!
Kate- I haven't seen that show, I'll have to keep my eyes open for it. My mother is Irish also. My husband is ScottsIrish (Is that how they spell it?) There is a town in Scotland named after his family. I would love to go to Ireland or Scotland. Who am I fooling? I'd love to go anywhere, the farthest away from the US I have been is Canada.
Have a good Sunday! I hope the Lord answers your prayers soon for your MIL. I always felt guilty praying that kind of prayer for my Mom when she had Cancer, but I also knew I didn't want her to suffer indefinately.
I am part Irish as well, but I usually forget that I am. You are so sweet, to answer your question, I believe our daughter will be the size of a 12 month old when we get her, maybe even smaller. She is about 9-10 old size now. She is just a tiny little thing!Have a wonderful day!
"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, KNOWS that we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12
I am an everyday woman. I am married to my soulmate. I have three sons ages 16,13 & 4. Adoption was never something that I had planned to do, but through an interesting path, God has led me and my husband to pursue the adoption of our daughter Sophia from China. It has changed me in so many ways. I cannot wait to look in the mirror and see the woman I will be when this journey is over.
