I tell you, I had no idea that it would turn out this great. I don't think Elizabeth is on yet. We were up late last night on here. I think we should definitely go to Vegas. We all go through so much together emotionally during our the wait, we should get to have some fun too. I'm an awful gambler, but I love the shows and the shopping!
I've never been to Vegas. It looks amazing though. Hubby would insist on coming along on that trip he does like to play in casinos occasionally.
It is probably the show girls and not the casinos that makes him so fond of Vegas!
I can do it either way, whatever everyone wants. My husband is great to have around.
He said it would be pretty easy for us to get hooked up on Skype or Sightspeed, both of which are free services. We'd just have to get cameras. I would love to see everybody!

Here I am. The vanilla smell has worn off. I'll be on/off all day. I have not partied this long and hard since I was.... maybe I was 27? Im having coffee, which is much needed. I have been overstimulated since the referral, then my book and now this, sleep doesn't come easy lately.
I have not even tackled the adoption paperwork.
Yesterday someone who just returned from my daughter's orphanage brought back almost 200 pictures of the children there.they emailed me a link to the all and I was trying to see if Grace was there but it's too hard. And the state of the kids... they are kinda grubby and slightly sickly looking. I want to go there now and bring her home and make her all better. This will be by far the hardest part of the wait.

Thank you so much ladies. Hospice says that it could be any time now. It's just so difficult because she's been a wonderful mother-in-law and I truly love her and will miss her terribly. She's at the stage now where she has withered so much I have to look closely to catch a glimpse of the woman I have known.
I'm ok though. Prayers would be wonderful. Please pray that she passes soon.

I just want to say thank you to all of you. There have been 29 rsvp's. That is a HUGE shower! I am so happy that this worked out so well.
I have received e-mails from women who don't even know us but want to be a part of supporting this child because they are not getting any acknowldgement from family and friends about their own adoptions.
I couldn't be more thrilled. I have always known that this group of women is so much more than just 'comments'. It's a valid community that loves and supports its women and children.

Hey little Miss Niki, I just got home too. Well a couple of hours ago. Work sucks when everyone else is having so much fun.
